The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Storyline
I had a friend of mine ask me what the storyline actually is for Ocarina of Time. He heard that it was a pretty good game, so I gave him the five minute run down. As I was describing this game, I realized that the storyline is more consequential and complex than I thought. It has a story of creation, the power of good and evil, and character based leadership. I’ll share my rendition with you here.

Experiencing the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
I was only six years old when I started playing Zelda. I didn’t even know how to read, and I know this because I remember standing in front of the Great Deku Tree for the first time and having my Dad help me read what he was saying. There are many reasons why I was hooked, especially so young. More than that, I still play sixteen years later. When I go home, I get on the N64, the Gamecube, and the Wii, shuffling through over twenty years of production. As a kid I placed bets on how many times I could defeat Ganondorf without using a fairy. As a teenager, I was seeing if I could beat the game in two days. Over the years, I became an expert on how to run through Ocarina of Time.

You've Met With A Terrible Fate, Haven't You?
I was four years old, and my aunt and uncle gave me socks and underwear for my birthday. I sat on the steps and sulked. How could the two people I idolized most give me socks and underwear?! They sat there deadly serious as I felt the tears well up in my eyes, and made no move to stop me as I took off to sit on the steps and silently lament this ultimate betrayal. They then brought out their real gift to me -- a Super Nintendo. I didn’t realize it then; but they had given me an escape from the endless fights between my parents.
