Let's take a closer look at what we can expect from the NCAA Tournament 2023.

First of all, let's talk about the format of the tournament. The NCAA Tournament is a single-elimination tournament featuring 68 teams, with the winner of each game advancing to the next round. The first four games of the tournament will take place on March 14th and 15th, with the first round beginning on March 16th. The Sweet 16 and Elite Eight will take place the following week, with the Final Four being played on April 1st and 3rd.

As always, there are a few teams that are expected to make a deep run in the tournament. Gonzaga, the top-ranked team in the country, is the clear favorite to win it all this year. Led by superstar guard Jalen Suggs and forward Drew Timme, the Bulldogs are an offensive powerhouse that has dominated their opponents all season long. They are currently 26-0 on the season and have won their games by an average of 23 points.

Another team to watch out for is Baylor, who is currently ranked second in the country. The Bears have been dominant all season, with their only loss coming to Kansas in late January. Led by guards Jared Butler and Davion Mitchell, Baylor has one of the best backcourts in the country and is capable of beating any team on any given night.

Other teams that could make a deep run in the tournament include Michigan, Illinois, and Alabama. Michigan has been a top team all season and is led by one of the best players in the country in Hunter Dickinson. Illinois, on the other hand, has a dynamic duo in Ayo Dosunmu and Kofi Cockburn and is capable of beating anyone in the country. Alabama, meanwhile, has a potent offense and has shown that they can beat top teams like Gonzaga and Houston.

Of course, the NCAA Tournament is always full of surprises, and there are sure to be some upsets along the way. One team to keep an eye on is Loyola Chicago, who made a Cinderella run to the Final Four in 2018. The Ramblers are once again a dangerous team, with a suffocating defense and a balanced offense led by Cameron Krutwig.

Another potential dark horse is San Diego State, who has quietly put together an impressive season. The Aztecs are currently 22-4 on the season and have a balanced team that can score from inside and outside. Led by guard Jordan Schakel and forward Matt Mitchell, San Diego State is a team that could surprise a lot of people in the tournament.
