'Kingdom Hearts 3': New Updates!!

Welcome to the Kingdom Hearts 3 news and updates!

As fans continue to wait on the Kingdom Hearts 3 release date, more news and updates have been revealed regarding the upcoming Square Enix title.

Also, an amazing roster of Kingdom Hearts 3 new characters has been "confirmed."

Today we will cover new characters, along with Riku's new keyblade, world structure, and the development progress about the most anticipated game of the year. I did not think this was going to happen, but recently we received some new information about the game.

So let's not waste any more time and jump right in!

New Characters Confirmed!

The first of the confirmed characters will be none other than Darth Vader from the Star Wars franchise. This is very exciting for Star Wars fans and it had already been speculated that the franchise would be making its appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3. I am curious how the game would implement Vader in his battle with his son, Luke Skywalker, and the help of Sora, Goofy, and Donald in the galaxies. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Similar to Star Wars, another character to appear in the upcoming game is Jim Hawkins, the main character of Disney’s 2002 animated film, Treasure Planet. I have not seen this movie, but my guess is that this game will involve Sora and his friends visiting other planets and help Jim defeat some heartless monsters to protect his world.

Another addition to the game is an arrogant hunter named Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. This is an interesting addition, considering that there are several worlds that are already featured. To have Gaston in the upcoming sequel to the Kingdom Hearts game could be a great experience.

A surprise addition is Marvel’s Doctor Strange. While there had been rumors and talks of Marvel heroes being included in Kingdom Hearts for so long, no confirmation came through until today. Surprisingly enough, it is Doctor Strange who is added to the roster. Doctor Strange's arrival makes a lot of sense, especially after taking into consideration his abilities to jump through time and space.

Adding to the roster is King Simba’s daughter, Kiara. Fans of The Lion King may remember the young cub in the sequel, "The Lion King: Simba's Pride. Now Sora, Donald, and Goofy encounter with Kiara could be entertaining, especially when Kiara’s sassy personality bumps heads with Donald’s temper.

Additionally, an iconic duo joining the Kingdom Hearts 3 game is Yzma and Kronk from 2000’s The Emperor’s New Groove. To have these two enjoyable characters join forces with the villains of Kingdom Hearts will add even more excitement and another dimension to their story, especially with Kronk acting as comic relief from time to time.

The final confirmed additions to the roster (so far) are Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII and Noctis from Final Fantasy XV.

What a treat for Final Fantasy fans!

Seeing these two awesome characters, the Kingdom Hearts 3 game will be mind-blowing. How they will be implemented into the story is yet to be revealed, but any Final Fantasy addition is worth watching and most of all, playing.

There will be more characters added to the game as well and it could be a surprise.

This screenshot looks incredible and the 3D graphics of the photo are out of this world. Just looking at this makes me want to play the game right now. As a fan of the Kingdom Hearts franchise, these new additions are setting up to become one of the greatest games of all-time.

Riku's New Keyblade!

Among the new characters that have arrived in the game, one of our beloved characters, Riku, will obtain a "new keyblade" to go along with his new outfit. As you guys saw from the preview trailers, Riku's old keyblade is "broken," which means he was going to have a new one.

As it turns out, Riku gets his own keyblade, which is a heavy card blade, and it looks really good. The new keyblade comes off looking really clean and it suits Riku's new look. I cannot wait until Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out so we can play as Riku and use his new keyblade to unleash new abilities.

It will be a lot of fun.

World Structure

The next topic to talk about is the "World Structure" of the game, how the game is going to start, and how the worlds are going to appear. We have learned about this back in 2017, but this time we have more information, in terms of starting from the beginning of the game as suppose to start with an intro that gets us right into the game. The writer said that "Twilight Town" is going to serve as the game's "tutorial," and of course, we are going to the 1st world game, which will be "Olympus Coliseum."

What they also recently confirmed that both Toy Story and Monser's Inc. will be early game worlds, whereas Tangled is going to be one of the worlds we will see possibly toward the middle of the game.

This puts a lot of things into perspective.

My prediction on what I think will happen in Kingdom Hearts 3 is that the game is probably going to start with us learning the basic tutorials at "Twilight Town." Then we will be going to mysterious towers and learning what to do there. Then we will head to Olympus and get brand new outfits and choose different types of keyblades. Lastly, we will jump right into a world, either Toy Story or Monster's Inc. to start a new journey.

That is my prediction.

So we have a good idea of what the structure of the game should look like and it will be a lot of fun.

Marluxia Returns!

Also, we will meet Marluxia, who will make his grand return and meet with Sora and his friends. In the game, Marluxia still remembered Sora and because of the loss of his memory, Sora has no memory of him at all. Now Sora did know about the "Organization" and Marluxia is a part of the "Only Organization." I still remember when both Sora and Marluxia first battle in the first Kingdom Hearts game when Sora was younger.

This is very exciting for us to start learning about the game and where the overall structure is going to be.

If I have to predict anything, it would be that Big Hero 6 will be the last world to appear at the end of the game and that would be the icing on the cake.

Development Progress!

The last topic to talk about is something that concerns a lot of people and it is the "Development Progress." With game development, developers are not one-dimensional people. They are not like, "Alright. We are making this game." Everyone is working together to try and get a lot of work done to prepare for the fans to see and fulfill their work by the engagement of players everywhere. What gamers do not understand is hundreds of developers are working on this game as we speak and have been for 5 years now.

It takes a lot of work and dedication to complete a really good game and most of all, time. Then you have to think about marketing the game. When you are marketing a game, especially new ones, you cannot show everything all at once. That is why they have "teasers" or "trailers" to anticipate the arrival of the game once it is finished. The reason the developers plan on putting the Kingdom Hearts 3 game out and finishing it this year, they probably had a meeting and said, "We have enough content and the game is ready to release soon this year."

If the developers reveal the screenshots too early and the game is set to release in the next 2 or 3 years, they are not going to have anything exciting to show and cannot make any headlines. So in order for the developers to reveal images and release the game on time, they have to choose when to show their gameplay screenshots and make sure it is polished enough for gamers everywhere to buy the game. Whenever a new game is set to release, always make sure to look at what the developers put out and research to see if it is legit.

It is better to stick with that method.

To wrap up, we now know about the new characters that will be added to the game, along with Riku's new keyblade, the "World Structure," and the "Development Progress."

Personally, I love the overall concept of this game and how it all fits together.

This game will be by far the best selling game of all-time, if you can add Disney and movie characters we know and love growing up.

Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the game of the year!
