Dark and Darker PVP Build Guide

This plate armor built for warriors is very aggressive and designed for PvP in Dark and Darker, with many different weapons. The build is based on dual wielding with no Slayer, which is surprising to most people. This build is for trios but can also be used for solos and duos.

Some blue and purple Items will be used in this build. If you don't have enough cheap Dark and Darker Gold for now, you can use other items to replace them. The following content will be explained in detail.

Main attribute data:

- Strength is the main stat for this build, as it ties into your damage and gives you HP is the best stat for Fighters.

- Agility is also useful, as it gives you move and attack speeds. However, strength is more important.

- Movement speed is a very important stat for this build, as it allows you to move quickly and get close to your enemies.

Choose the right Perks:

- Defense Mastery: This perk reduces damage, which is important for survivability.

- Swift: This perk gives you movement speed, which is important for getting in close to your enemies.

- Dual Wield: This perk is what the entire build is based around. It gives you more action speed when your Lantern is out.

- Combo Attack: This perk is used instead of Adrenaline Spike, which is currently bugged. It gives you more damage when you use a combo attack.

Gear:

- Plate armor is recommended for this build, as it gives you more survivability.

- Dual-wield weapons are recommended, as they are the build's focus.

- A Lantern is recommended, as it gives you more action speed when it is out.

Tips:

- Equipping a shield can be useful in certain situations, such as when facing a cleric and needing to push them. While this means losing the benefits of dual-wielding weapons, not having a shield can be a disadvantage in some situations. It is recommended that players equip a shield when they need extra stats or need to play more passively.

- Using a lantern can help regain health in combat. This is a useful tactic for staying alive during a fight.

- Adrenaline Rush is recommended for trios, but Second Wind is recommended for solos and duos.

- Strength is the most important stat for this build, followed by agility and movement speed.

- Slayer might not be worth it on the higher end because of the plate boots and chapel, but now, with the armet changes, it is very viable.

Dark and Darker Items needed

-Wolf Hunter Leggings

-Riveted Gloves

-Dark Plate Armor

-Plate Boots

-Ring of Courage

You can try the alternative gear below if you need more Dark and Darker Gold to purchase Wolf Hunter Leggings.

Instead of Lantern + Wolf Hunter Leggings (total 30 armor, -12 MS Penalty)

run Buckler + Loose Trousers, without blocking since the model is so small: (total 37 armor, -10 MS penalty)

So with this, you get +7 Armor 2 less MS penalties and +2 Agility instead of +5 HP.

Since no one uses bucklers, it is pretty easy to find one with 13-15 armor and another useful role, such as a 2-3% PDR roll for very cheap, which I think is nice since shields have the highest possible values for armor & PDR.

And with this, you run projectile resistance & adrenaline spike when it's fixed.

The big issue with this is that you won't have dual wields since shields don't count as weapons, but other than that, it is a nice stat trade-off.

The one downside, other than no dual wield, will be you won't have damage rolls that lanterns can roll, but you will have more base stats cause of the +3 agi from loose trousers at purple.

It is definitely a more defensive approach if you like to play it in solos. In trios where you can run adrenaline rush less risky, the Lantern & dual wield combo is probably better, Especially since weapon damage with a faster swinging arming sword has some extra synergy.

One thing about the second wind that people forget is that it scales with your max hp. It heals you for 50% of your health.

With the build, you have 160 HP. That means you heal for 80 and not just 50. It has 30 hp free healing. It's huge. Ale needs to get nerfed. It's straight-up broken.

This is a very powerful and aggressive build made specifically for warriors. It focuses on strength, agility, and movement speed and is designed to be very aggressive.
