This match-three game uses some aspects of the brick-breaking game to create a fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping bubble shooter that is hard to put down. The controls are incredibly simple - you just tap on the screen where you want the marble to go. The objective of the game is to group stones of the same color to make them pop, and eventually reach the key (floating in a bubble) at the end of the level. The game starts off simple, but gradually becomes more intense and challenging. You will be introduced to color changing marbles, rainbow marbles, multiple marbles and even blast marbles. The game is made up of three different worlds, Bust the Bubble, Shooting Stars, and Struck by Lightning. Each world offers new marbles (like Black Widow) and game mechanics (like meteors) so that it is never boring. You may find yourself immersed in the bubble bust universe for hours, even without realizing it! This is a sport that you find difficult to put down once you start playing.

** Tip: Black Widow Marble cannot be matched with any color. But it can be destroyed in other ways. Try to change its color, blow it or even use it to prevent the meteor from falling!

Birzzle Pandora has cute and cuddly birds that need to be matched in groups of three or more of the same color. There are three different modes to play through: Classic, Pandora, and Ice Break. The classic is endless mode. Birds fall into rows of seven and you need to destroy them to keep them from filling the screen. You can move them around the board either way. As long as there is an opening somewhere around a bird, you can hold it and place, slide or throw it wherever you want. It starts off easy, but as you progress to a higher level, birds fall faster, more types of birds are added, and even unmatched birds are thrown into the mix. To get the best score, you need to create the largest group of birds. If you match four birds of one color, they will turn into a glowing bird that bursts when matching more birds of the same color. Five birds make a flaming phoenix, six make an electric bird, and seven a worm bird that cleans all birds on board. The classic mode is endless, so you can play the same game as per your skills! Pandora Mode connects via Facebook so you can compete with your friends. Instead of being endless, you have a two-minute timer in which you can score as many points. You can also earn coins, which can be used to buy extra time or power-ups like a wormhole. Ice Break Mode, which is unlocked after reaching level 20 in the Classic, is a new game in itself. Instead of the entire row of birds dropping, there is a bird at the top and you control where it goes. Once it hits the ice, it solidifies with the other birds below. You cannot move birds in mode. Instead, you have to match them to break the ice. You have a 1-minute timer, but you get extra time when you clean a wave or break a snow-covered power-up. It is a fast-paced and challenging mode that can offer a change from the classic mode if you exhaust it. Between these three polished game modes, the game should provide you with plenty of entertainment.

** Tip: When you try to save your powered-up birds to help clean a lot of birds in a tight place. Just don't give them a second chance, you have a chance.

3. Linked by Retro Drummer

In Linkoidz, you're on a strange planet, where quirky little aliens are swarming at you. Fortunately, you are equipped with a shield with a large gun and a force. But your armor can only handle a certain amount of weight. If it becomes overloaded, it will break and the aliens will find you. Therefore, you need to destroy the aliens. The way you do it is by sucking any aliens of the same color into your gun. Then you shoot them in a row and they burst, along with any other colors they touch. Sometimes you will encounter bosses or rocks that can only be destroyed by having other aliens explode several times next to them. The controls are awkward at first but begin to look completely natural after only a few minutes. The ultimate game is fast paced and challenging, with multiple areas and goals for each level. Once you beat the story mode, there are also endless, Zen (just clearing all the aliens) and Sprint (on the timer) modes for each area. These additional modes should provide a plethora of value. There are also leader boards and achievements to get you more back in the game. If you really like a good challenge, then give this game.

** Tip: When you can move one alien at a time, try to suck in several rows of them and inject them where they can destroy the most aliens. If you encounter multiple bosses, I try next to the row of aliens between bosses so you can blast both of them at the same time. Kill two aliens with one stone!

If you're a match-three or bubble shooter fan, you really can't go wrong in these three games. They each provide hours of entertainment and they can be played in short burst when you have a few minutes to kill, or you can get lost in them for hours.
