Words help us communicate, express emotions and convey our thoughts. It is truly amazing that there are approximately 171,146 words in the English language.

Words are our inexhaustible source of magic." - J.K. Rowling

Words are so powerful that it is believed by some people, that they are the same as casting a spell. This theory claims that the alphabet system was built using sacred geometry and sound which provides each word with magical elements.

Apart from the spiritual aspect of magic, there was interesting research that was conducted by some Psychologists which explores what they call " the real magic" of words and the way that it influences the human mind.

For more about this, read the book: Magic Words | Author: Tim David

How and when the human language evolved is a mystery, that is as old as time. Most scientists believe that the evolution of language happened in stages, as our ancestors evolved and needed language to be able to communicate with one and other in order to survive.

Even in the present day and age we are continuously expanding our vocabulary, as we grow and evolve as humans.

"Language creates reality. Words have power. Speak always to create joy.” — Deepak Chopra

Words have energy and power. They can have make a positive impact with the ability to help, heal and humble. However, the opposite also exists, because they can be used to hinder, hurt, harm and humiliate. This is why words should be used thoughtfully and with care. Words can affect us in unexpected ways that we may not even realize. They can cause emotional scars, which are invisible to the human-eye.

Words can inspire. And words can destroy. Choose yours well." - Robin Sharma"

Words are powerful. Their meaning crystallizes perceptions that shape our beliefs, drive our behavior, and ultimately, create our world. Their power derives from the emotional responses and they can bring people together or tare people apart.

Some words are considered more beautiful then others, this is based upon their sound and meaning. Some of the most beautiful words have been lost over time and some become obsolete. Many new words are added, many words evolve and their meaning change and some lost words get revived.
