The Wolves have became something great

"Hey, Wolffe. Can you believe it?"

"What?"

"The wolves! You got your Wolfpack back!"

"Yeah. They fight just like the boys."

―Gregor and Wolffe watch the Loth-wolves attack (Star Wars Rebels)

Yeah, as we know this was all a creation of Dave Filoni, who loves wolves. We are reminded of that in Chapter 10 of the Mandalorian, when Trapper Wolf (Filoni's New Republic character), appears wearing an emblem of the Wolfpack.

Tale:

Plo Koon acted as a Jedi Seeker

Plo Koon, a member of the Jedi Council during the time when Jedi were guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, acted as a Jedi seeker in service to find the future of the Jedi Order. He found several future jedi, including Ahsoka Tano.

One such child of the force Plo Koon would find was in fact on Lothal.

A hunting village on Lothal would seek the service of the visiting Jedi after wolves had attacked one of their villages. These wolves however, have been extinct for at least a few generations, so their return was threatening to the citizens of Lothal, who greatly feared these large predators.

Plo Koon would prove reliable, tracking the tracks of these wolves for some distance.

Plo Koon would find these wolves the deeper the grass became and the closer he gotten to the large ancient bolders. Master Koon discovered that the extremely intelligent wolves had a special connection to the force, and actually stolen a child from the villagers. The child was in fact force sensitive and was being watched and protected by the wolves. Some of the wolves held great scars from unsuccessful hunters. Plo would heal these scars on the wolves, earning their trust and protection.

The wolves humbly allow Plo to take the child, having a respect of the presence of any Jedi..

Caleb Dume-Lothal native?

This soon to be Jedi foundling was in fact a young Caleb Dume, explaining his strange connection to the Wolves that he had later on shortly before his passing.

Koon and Wolffe

Years later, when Plo Koon was assigned the 104th Battalion of the Clone Army, he noticed their tactics to be as tenacious as the wolves he seen several years prior on Lothal.

He would name this Clone Battalion, Wolf Pack.

Wolf Pack would relieve many worlds of Seperatist occupation during the Clone War, including that of Trapper.

Trapper Wolffe

Trapper would grow to respect the Clone Army, and upon joining the Alliance to Restore the Republic many years later, Trapper would once again meet Wolffe, now much older.

Trapper, who was an orphan and never had a last name, would rename himself, Trapper Wolffe and even bear the symbol of the Wolfpack on his New Republic Gear.

The Wolves Future:

Ahsoka would return to Lothal by her ship.

In order to track Ezra, Ahsoka grouped a lot of tools, including Ezra's lightsaber crystal to better track Ezra. Sabine and Ahsoka would voyage to the uknown to find Ezra and bring him back home to Lothal.

Wolves are able to reach Ezra through the force

After coming back to Lothal empty handed, Ahsoka and Rex would return to Lothal and would find Ezra via wolves, who were able to attain a direct connection with Ezra through the force.

Kanan's wolf, who called itself "Dume" would lead Ahsoka and possibly Sabine through a portal leading to the deep uknown. The wolf gave it's life in this process, and allowed Ahsoka and Sabine to finally bring Ezra back into the portal and back to Lothal.

remember the wolves had a direct cnnection to Kanan and Ezra
These wolves would take Ahsoka to find Ezra

Kanan's wolf was able to bring Ezra back to Lothal. Ezra would remain there, becoming a wolf breeder, and lived within his parents old home. He would come to represent the people of Lothal instead of joining Luke's Jedi Order.

Leia and Mon Mothma would welcome Ezra in the New Republic Senate. Ezra would assist Leia's resistance with Lothal's formidable militia.

Kanan's holocron passed down to Luke

He would gift Luke Skywalker the holocron of Kanan Jarrus, including his very last recordings of the lesson learned from the wolves of Lothal.
