The year is 2052, superpowers are a more common thing then they are now. One in every million humans has at least one super ability. This was caused an accident at a lab in the year 2025. This accident did not kill anyone, but instead had a green light emerge giving a handful of humans supernatural abilities.

The world populace in the year 2025 totaled eight billion people. Which means that there are eight thousand humans who have abilities that exceed those of the average human. While they vary from person, each one should not be taken lightly by any means. This is the story of one particular boy named Timothy Tanji. The accident had happened while his mother was pregnant with him. To be precise, this life changing light happened during the first trimester of her pregnancy with him.

His mother was not effected by the light herself, but her son was. The boy's mother was a single mom. She had a moment of tender passion with a guy she met at a bar and never heard from him again. She eventually gave birth to the boy. When he was born, his features were less than that of a traditional human.

She took the boy from the hospital and threw him in a dumpster several blocks away. She did this because she was in fear of what her family and friends would say if they found out she had given birth to this abomination. Later that evening a man was walking home after the funeral he had for his wife and child. It started to rain heavily, so he grabbed his umbrella and started walking home.

He was about to pass the alley where the woman was earlier, when he heard the child cry. He looked around and eventually came to the realization, that the crying came from the dumpster. He opened the lid and found the boy. He had ears that looked almost reptilian (if reptiles had ears that is), he had two small horns that began to surface from his forehead, two small fangs that went upward like a bulldog, teal colored skin, and a long skinny tail like a demon.

The man was startled at first, but then realized that the boy was a helpless child and picked him up from the dumpster. He had called out to see if anyone was around. The child then started to cuddle onto him. The man fell in love with the boy and decided to take him home and raise him as his own. He had named him Timothy, after his son.

Raising this boy had been proven to be more of a challenge than he had originally hoped for. Timothy had gained some strange and unique abilities during his childhood. Some of them included: climbing up walls, teleporting and breathing fire. However, the man also knew that raising Timothy was worth the struggle.

Before the death of his wife and biological son, he was a martial arts instructor. As such, he taught Timothy the ways of Kenpo. It was a struggle for Timothy. Due to the fact that this martial arts was designed for average humans. Not ones with tails and claws (the latter of which he grew during puberty). However, with hard work and dedication, Timothy had become skilled in the ways of Kenpo at the age of 12.

His next biggest task was High School. Due to the nature of his current physiology, the only school Timothy could attend was one that had catered to individuals who were effected by the green light. That school was located in London, England. Which, I don't need to tell you, is a very long distance from Queens, NY.

He thanked his father for everything that he has done for him, but felt like he needed to go to London so that he may hone his abilities to help make the world a better place. Like he has done for him. The father was both disheartened and glad at the same time.

He was disheartened by the fact that he will miss the boy he had found in the dumpster all those years ago, but was proud of his son for knowing that he wants to use his powers for the good of humans everywhere.

After a tearful goodbye, Timothy had packed his things and boarded the first boat heading to England from Queens. There he had seen more individuals like him than he had ever seen before. However, like any high school setting, it was diffucult for Timothy to make new friends.

While making new friends would defiantly help Timothy, the main objective of him going was to not only get a good education, but the goal was to help hone his abilities so that he can help save others, as his father helped saved him all those years ago.

For if he could use his powers to help others in a way that his father helped him, then he would feel that he has helped made the world a better place. For no good deed goes unpunished.
