Star Wars is a science fiction franchise set in a universe far far away.
Biggest Unanswered Questions We Have From 'The Book Of Boba Fett'
The dust has now settled, and the twin suns of Tatooine are setting as The Book Of Boba Fett has reached its grand finale. There are certainly very mixed feelings out there on the series. Like The Last Jedi, The Book Of Boba Fett took a different approach to Star Wars storytelling. However, with The Book Of Boba Fett, a lot of that was the fact that the titular hero was not the main focus of every episode.

"When I left you, I was but the learner. Now I am the master." The fight between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader in A New Hope is a primary example of how Star Wars has always gone back into its own timeline to make its best moments even more impactful. Through the prequel trilogy, The Clone Wars animated series, and the various comics and novels, we have seen the relationship between Obi-Wan and his reckless apprentice Anakin Skywalker evolve into a tragic story of a mentor and student torn apart by war, loss, fear, and distrust. This makes many Star Wars fans all the more shocked to hear that the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, headed by acclaimed Mandalorian director Deborah Chow, will have Obi-Wan and Darth Vader engage each other in another duel between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.
Culture SlatePublished 2 years ago in FuturismYou Won't Believe This Link Between 'The Mandalorian' And John Wayne
Star Wars really is a mixture of genres. Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Adventure and, weirdly enough, Western. Granted, not all of Star Wars feels like a Space Western, but there are aspects that do. And this can be seen most in the original Star Wars, The Mandalorian and recently, The Book of Boba Fett. Funnily enough these three feature a certain planet: Tatooine. A desert world in the Outer Rim. In a Western, this would be the "frontier." With outlaws, gunslingers, bounty hunters, bars/cantinas, with the law just barely holding on, like a kite dancing in a hurricane. Westerns may have gone out of popularity in cinema, but they have left a lasting impact.

Last week was the season finale of The Book of Boba Fett. While it was a good series, it left many questions unanswered. That was fine because it allowed the fans to speculate on where the story will go. While Boba, Fennec, Krrsantan, and the mods were standing around chatting at the end of the episode, I could not help but think, now what? He accomplished his goal, rid Tatooine of the Pykes, killed Cad Bane, ousted the mayor of Mos Espa, and secured his seat on the throne. Does Boba live happily ever after on Tatooine? Let’s look at the options after the season finale of The Book of Boba Fett.

Of all of the numerous Star Wars shows coming up on Disney+, none have the hype behind them that the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries does, outside of maybe the upcoming third season of The Mandalorian. The six-episode miniseries will focus on the titular character after his self-imposed exile on Tatooine after the events of Revenge of the Sith but before A New Hope.

In the aftermath of the finale of The Book of Boba Fett, many Star Wars fans are wondering if we'll ever see the character of Qi'ra from Solo: A Star Wars Story on screen again. For those who don't know, Qi'ra was brought back into the canon story of Star Wars last year with Charles Soule's comic miniseries, The War of the Bounty Hunters. In said miniseries, we saw Boba Fett lose the carbonite frozen Han Solo to Crimson Dawn between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Under their new leader, Lady Qi'ra, Crimson Dawn auctioned off the smuggler to the galaxy's biggest crime syndicates. This ultimately ended with Darth Vader arriving to crash the auction, as Fett reclaimed his bounty and brought him to Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine.

Ever since Kathleen Kennedy announced the "rematch of the century" between Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series for Disney+, it has become obvious that Darth Vader would be the major antagonist of the Jedi Master in exile. But at the same time, it was clear that the stand-off between the Jedi Master and his fallen Padawan could only be the climax of the mini-series and that there had to be other opponents disturbing Kenobi's peaceful life on Tatooine.

Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) veteran Robert Blalack has passed away on February 2, 2022 at the age of 73. As one of the pioneering figures in the visual effects industry, Blalack was a leading contributor in the making of Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977, during which he took the role of supervisor for the film's composite optical photography involving miniature and optical effects units. He was in charge of leading the modification and retooling of ILM's optical equipment for running VistaVision, the fabled format chosen for the production of A New Hope. This proved to be no easy feat, as the establishment of ILM's first visual effects pipeline faced many technical challenges and demanded a year's worth of intensive work, leaving only seven months to complete over 300 effects shots by the time the pipeline was ready for action.
