star wars
Star Wars is a science fiction franchise set in a universe far far away.
The Tragic Hidden Story Of Yoda And Dooku's Relationship
One of the main themes that has been a part of the Star Wars universe since the beginning has been redemption. One of the major Star Wars plot points are the journeys of the characters toward or from the dark side. From Darth Vader’s redemption arc from the dark side to the light side in the original Star Wars, to Kylo Ren’s redemption arc from the dark side to the light side in the sequel trilogy, and even in The Clone Wars animated series Asajj Ventress changed from the dark side to the light side before the end.

Arguably, the most iconic moment in the original Star Wars film was the duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader. It was the first time that we got to actually see a lightsaber in action beyond a brief flash in the Mos Eisely cantina. The dialogue between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan was dripping with an untold history between the two, and Obi-Wan's ultimate sacrifice came as a huge shock for viewers. Decades later, Revenge of the Sith would come out, showing a fast-paced duel between the same two characters, with Obi-Wan having no choice but to leave Anakin, now Darth Vader, burning to death on a molten slope in the volcanic planet Mustafar. The Revenge of the Sith fight is definitely flashier, and the fight from A New Hope had more depth to it. They remain the best fights in the series. But now it appears that we're getting a part three to their duels, or a part two, rather, from a certain point of view.

Across the galaxy, tens of thousands of species have developed unique civilizations and customs away from the influence of Coruscant. In the Mid Rim system of Kashyyyk, the Wookie culture has flourished in villages atop the native wroshyr trees. This temperate rainforest planet is rich in natural resources, allowing the mostly peaceful Wookies to live quiet, bountiful lives. However, on a nearby planet lurks a sinister threat: the Trandoshans. These cold-blooded hunters take particular pride in claiming the pelts of Wookiee warriors. For many Trandoshan clans, the killing of a Wookiee in the name of their unique god is the final step to take on a hatchlings journey to become a true Trandoshan hunter.

Han, (translated from Wookiespeak to Galactic Basic by C3P0, human-cyborg, relations) I am tired of you always having me fit the Falcon for you, especially when we land on distant planets en route to our final destination. We blast through the galaxy smuggling goods for a hefty price, and it’s cool that I got half the cut, but when we step off the ramp of the Falcon, the first that comes out of your mouth is “Chewie, see what’s wrong with the Falcon. I’ll have a look around.”
