Eufy to Eufena. Runner-Up in Already Here Challenge. Top Story - September 2026.

The Truth About Data Centers
Every time we send a message, stream a movie, ask an AI assistant a question, upload a photo, or buy something online, there is a good chance a data center is involved. Yet these enormous facilities are mostly invisible to us. They sit behind the scenes, quietly processing, storing, and moving the information that powers modern life.

“Hey, are you already there?”. Runner-Up in Already Here Challenge.
Once upon a time, millennials lived in an era where we agreed to a plan once . We fill a kettle, look toward a small plastic cylinder, and speak to it and the air around us: “Alexa, will it rain today?” Within a second, a synthetic, disembodied voice processes millions of data points from global satellites and what I assume are supercomputers to offer an hourly percentage of precipitation. We barely register this as technology. We just accept this ambient infrastructure.

Watch Me. Top Story - August 2026.
Time controls everything. Time is the ultimate controller of us all. It controls the day moving forward. It controls what we do, where we go, when we leave, when we arrive, when we work, when we eat, and when we sleep. Time tells us when dinner is, when the concert starts, when the movie begins, when the bus is coming, and when we are supposed to be somewhere. We organize our entire lives around it. We set alarms to wake up, timers to remind us, calendars to plan ahead, and clocks to tell us how much time we have left.
