Episode 10 of seven deadly sins: Judgment of Dragon’s sin was mostly based on desperate situations faced by all who were fighting because since Merlin needed some time to stop the time of cocoon in which Meliodas is being cultivated to become the new demon king, some were trying to stop her whereas other were trying to protect her.

Since Escanor lost power, he asks Mael to recognize his Grace and encourages him to accept his true self. On the other hand, Ludociel who was fighting against the first demon was on edge. In simple words, episode 10 was like a tug of war between Zeldris team and the seven deadly sins team. At some point, it was quite difficult to estimate which team has a higher hand. When the seven deadly sins group and Mael join the fray, they contribute to protecting Merlin. Mael with the help of his Grace managed to toss the first demon from Camelot but Zeldris was determined and was desperate to fulfill his promise. Even though he was left alone, he uses everything to stop Merlin’s spell but in the end, he fails to do so. When he thought was his chance to meet his lover Gelda whose whereabouts are only known to Meliodas, then something unexpected happen which no one estimated it would.

When everyone was celebrating as they brought an end to the holy war, Hawks went to check on cocoon but he found that there was a crack in it and Meliodas might have escaped. At the end of the episode, it is shown that Meliodas in his new form makes an appearance that terrifies everyone and Zeldris says that ‘Welcome Demon King”.

Though my assumptions made in the previous episode are not clear yet but we can’t deny those assumptions because the fate of Meliodas and Elizabeth depends on the new demon king and his emotions. Let’s see whether Meliodas fulfills his promise to Zeldris to reveal information about Gelda. To be frank, this season is slowly killing the interest to watch the series. I think the main reason may be due to the pace at which the story is moving. It seems there is no enough story left and anime creators are stretching the plot intentionally.

Seven Deadly Sins (Japanese name is ‘Nanatsu No Taizai’) is a Japanese fantasy anime series that is based on an ancient story. The plot is set around the timeline where Earth is enriched with various fantastical creatures like God, Demons, Angels, Fairies, Giants, and most of all humans. In this anime, Earth is shown as a single landmass area which is known as Britannia which got affected by the holy war. In the holy war, the Goddesses clan along with Fairy clan and Giant clan coalition to fight against the demon clan. In that war, the demon clan got defeated and were sealed for around 3000 years but after 3000 years the seal was broken and the holy war which was thought to be over began again.

To save humans and other remaining clans on the Earth a group of 7 powerful individuals having different traits form a team and fight against the evil forces which conspire to destroy the world. They are known as Seven Deadly Sins or Nanatsu No Taizai. They are Dragon’s Sin of Wrath, Meliodas; Serpent’s Sin of Envy, Diane; Fox’s Sin of Greed, Ban; Grizzly’s Sin of Sloth, King; Goat Sin of Lust, Gowther; Boar’s Sin of Gluttony, Merlin; Lion’s Sin of Pride, Escanor. They fight against all odds to restore peace again in Britannia.

NOTE: The Review written above is based on personal opinion and the viewer’s state of mind at the time when that episode got released and this review was written long back ago. There are certain assumptions and guesses which are made by writer as viewer point. So, it is not necessary that these must be correct. At the end, I request all to read the reviews and opinions with a open mind without any judgment and even if there is difference is opinion I appreciate if you explain your point in a civilized manner. Lastly, thank you for giving your valuable time.
