A thousand years ago, there was a king whose kingdom spanned half a continent during a time of knights and valor. He ruled justly and fairly, and thus his kingdom prospered. The king had 10 begotten sons; Joshua, the 10th son, skinny and white, with blonde hair and blue eyes whose selflessness knew no bounds; Alexander the 9th son, a boy with great hope within him, as skinny as his brother but with deep tanned skin, with brown hair and eyes as green as the leaves of the trees; the 8th son, Kanin, whose hair was blood red, and with deep brown eyes: he had more muscle than his younger brothers, and within him he had a strong sense of justice and honor; Michael, the 7th son, whose hair and eyes were dark as night, and body was lean and wiry with the muscle of training and work, covered in scars from his exploits where he always sought out glory and fame; Vile, the 6th son, his hair white as the snow, with eyes the colour of clouds heavy with rain and his skin dark, upon whom fear held no power upon his heart nor mind; Talon, the 5th son, hair brown as the earth and eyes black as the night above it with white skin the color of the stars that hung there, whose skills in hunting were unlike any other; Joseph, the 4th son, with long dark hair that brushed his shoulders, with a handsome stare from underneath dark brows that nobody could resist, with a cleverness to him in his own right; Nicholas, the 3rd son, with a completely bald head, and hawkish eyes the color of a small yellow suns, he was the strongest out of all his brothers, he had a strong desire to protect his people; and finally, Elijah and Arthur, the twins, both loyal men with skills at the blade unmatched by any but each other.

The 10 sons were each born of different mothers around the same year, so, all the same age, they grew to become the most memorable order of knights the lands had ever known. History remembered them as the Knights of the Round Table, their real names lost to history's shifting pages.

When their father, the king, grew very old and was fast approaching Death's waiting arms, he summoned a witch to his bedside. She was an ugly and deformed thing, standing there at the graceful king's side in his ornate bedroom. He then asked her, his voice weak and small, to bestow an army's power on each of his sons and make sure that it would be passed down the lineage so that their rule could never end. The witch warned the king. That such lavish power comes at a befitting price, but the king did not listen and commanded her to perform the spell, at the penalty of her life. If she did not do as he commanded.

The 10 sons gathered around and kneeled before the witch, in the royal palace's throne room, as she began to cast her magic. A great hole full of shining silver light opened on each of the son's chest as if an opening to their very spirit and life force was created. With his very heartstrings, each prince's face pulled free, each contorted into a different writhing howl of silent pain. The witch, moving as if in a trance, then pulled out a brilliant shining crystal from her pouch, its shine a thousand beams of every color. Casting the stone down with a sharp motion, it shattered utterly into 10 impossibly faceted pieces, which lay there on the floor for a single drawn-out second until they soared up in a brilliant flash of light, each embedding itself in the chest of a prince.

From then, their kingdom called them heroes--some even calling them gods--while their enemies feared them as monsters and demons. Throughout the centuries, this story has been forgotten merely regarded as myth or legend.

Some say that the same power the brothers had has been passed down through the ages, decade to decade, century to century, generation to generation. But now, a new story is about to begin, as a young farmer boy with dark blonde hair awakens, but from his eyes shine forth Fenrir's eyes
