LIFE: Fair & Unfair

And how we perceive it!

By Vaishali MishraPublished 4 years ago 2 min read

Life is not meant to be fair. It never was, never is and will never always be fair. This world is running on a system where natural justice prevails. Everything here we find is random, disorganized and chaotic.

In the opinion of many of us life is not always fair. Everyone has their own grudges against many peoples, situations, circumstances and events. Natural justice do exists is the fact above all the things.

We immediately want justice when something bad happens to us, someone hurts us or insults us but it is also there that justice is not done every time. We always think that KARMA should be given and the person who has hurt has mentally or emotionally should also feel the same way as we does in some form or other.

When we see other people at a more successful position or with huge properties, more cash, in good health or enjoying a better relationship we instantly try to compare our life to those of that persons and we feel dejected.

We constantly then try to find any kind of flaw or imperfectness in their lives and then compare our lives to them and see how much far better are we from them in any particular area of life.

And subconsciously or consciously, we pray often for something bad to happen to those people, because to us it seems unfair that how life is treating them so fairly and we are at the same place facing different types of problems in different areas of our life and they are at the same time enjoying.

Existence does not work according to our needs, desires, wants, ideas or beliefs. Some people might call it luck, some believe in past life karma, fate or chance when life unfolds for each one of us the way it does. But one cannot tell or is sure about the working of existence.

People think that it is the law of cause and effect playing out. When we see a person who is happy and enjoying some kind of benefits, we feel that he must have done some good deeds in the past of which rewards he is reaping now. And this is the reason why we keep advising that we must be honest, humble, good, giving, forgiving and fair.

Despite many of us living good, honest lives, existence does not seem to shower its blessings on us. It is then that we wonder if life is unfair.

In reality, life or existence is neither fair nor unfair. Existence just is; life flows as it is meant to.

There should be a plan or a master blueprint where all the details should proceed further on for every one of us on earth should be given? There is no such proofs or evidences found for this. Our life moves in infinite cycles rather than moving in a straight line. Occurrence and events will have to be in certain way so that universe could run smoothly. By looking at life we know this much, as where life and death, happiness and sorrow, rich and poor, good and bad all comes in cycles.

It would be a big chaos and confusion if things start to change as per the need and want of every individual, as life is seeming unfair to many out there. If this would happen, in a span of very few days world will come to an end. The unfairness that we see is apparent and is needed for continuity
