Internet Of Things
Artificial Intelligence stands for intelligent systems that make sense of a huge amount of data by learning from repeated experiences or tasks (without any human intervention). On the other hand, Internet of Things (popularly known as IoT) is a system of interlinked devices (mechanical and digital systems working together) that collect and exchange data with each other efficiently over the internet.
Murky Waters: What To Expect When Mercury Goes Retrograde in Cancer this Summer
What is Mercury in Retrograde? A retrograde planet is one that appears to be moving in the opposite direction. Astrologically, this means that the energies represented by the planet are directed backwards or inward. Retrograde periods are often riddled with delays and disruption, but they don't have to be. These periods are not so much a time for action, but a time for reflection. Retrograde periods are also loaded with synchronicity and karma. So, they can also be periods of magic and manifestation if you just focus within rather than without. Things from the past will return to us. This could be people from our past, including from our past lives, situations, or memories that we thought we had forgotten about, or maybe just lessons that we're getting a second chance at learning after having failed the first time around.

Tim looked up towards Jupiter through his telescope. He couldn’t quite make out the huge planet through the dim lens, but he knew it was there. He had found the telescope in a Salvation Army two years ago. It had been rusted and partially cracked down the side, the magnification was so weak it barely improved on the naked eye, but Tim loved it. He made a quick note in his book and then frowned. According to the textbook Jupiter had a bright red spot on its surface, a storm twice the size of Earth swirling at speeds faster than a hurricane. Tim thought the picture made it look like a fat, angry zit. Except nobody had ever tried to pop it.

Mark LancasterPublished 4 years ago in FuturismThe Carousel Of Dreams
Under a dark oak apple tree, in a green land far from here, stood a young girl with eyes as green as the grass, hair like the sunshine, and a quixotic mind. This young girl was named Annie, and despite her dreamer’s imagination and talent for storytelling which drew everyone in the land into her, she was desperately sad. Annie had lost her parents a few years earlued. They were dead, and she was now alone, with nothing but her stories and the apple tree. On a cloudy day, when the sky was iron grey and the air was heavy with malaise all across the country, Annie heard a woman’s voice as she was sat under the tree. Follow me, whispered the voice softly. Annie mused that it could have been the wind, or in her head, but she decided to follow nonetheless, through the red-bricked lanes into the empty villages, across the fields of black earth and wheat, stretching into the pale horizon where land meets sky. Eventually, it lead her to a bright silver roundabout, illuminated like a star, in the shape of an old-fashioned carousel. It was completely silent, other than a soft chime. The voice whispered to Annie that she had one wish she could make. One wish. That was all. Annie thought long and hard about what she wanted most. Finally, she spoke, in a voice broken with emotion, to ask for her parents back. The carousel split open, and out from it stepped Annie’s parents, as though they had been in there the whole time. Annie was overjoyed, and so began to walk with them back to the village. But her parents soon began to wilt and fade - they were no longer of this world, and slowly became a heap of silvery-grey glitter on the shadowy pathway. Annie sunk next to her parents and cried, devastated that they’d left her again. As she did so, one of her tears fell onto the dust. It rapidly began to spin around and take a shape, the shape of a tall, beautiful woman, with long flowing hair and immense gold-tinted wings. She bent down, and told Annie in a voice shimmering with compassion, that there had been a curse on her family - a curse dooming all of the women of the family to die young. But because Annie found the carousel of dreams, she said, and made a selfless wish, the curse was broken now.

You are in charge of your destiny. It is true that there are placements that are harder to manage than others, but the way you express the energy and how you find compromise within yourself is what ultimately dictates your fate. There are stubborn, impulsive, childish Aries out there, just as there are pioneering, determined and ground-breaking ones.
"Cloud Atlas" by David Mitchell
It has been a while since I first read “Cloud Atlas” by David Mitchell. I was sixteen years’ old and my first reading experience of it basically blew my mind. I stayed up all night making notes, drawing sketches of characters and by the morning, I was not only insanely tired, but I had a whole notebook filled with masses and masses of information about the book. I had handwritten over one hundred pages of notes, quotations, sketches, drawings, opinions, lists and so many other things. This would be an annual thing and now I can’t live without the book. I still have my copy from all the way back then. I used it at university for one of my essays and it’s now covered in notes and highlighting. Now, my copy is safely tucked into a box under my bed and I take it out every now and again, I was reading it the night before my twenty-first birthday, at Christmas whilst I was twenty-three and I read it recently and the ripe age of twenty-four. It changed my entire opinion on the very limitations of literature. The truth is: there are no limitations.

The Way of the Polémixen Fifty thousand years had passed since the Polémixen had visited that particular planet, the one with the Hominoi. That was what the Polémixen had decided to call them; it was perhaps an adjective more than it was a designation.

Astrology ExpertPublished 4 years ago in FuturismSee the Stars
One nightly ritual that should make a comeback is to see the stars. A simple yet effective way to remember our place in the universe and how small we really are when it comes to the cosmos. If you are going through troubles in your life, I believe it can be comforting to see the stars not only to realize that while our problems are serious and need to be dealt with, it is also good to realize the beauty in things and nothing is perhaps more beautiful than a clear, night sky where you can see the constellations, the full moon, and even a shooting star if you are lucky.
