This is an excerpt from a short story that was inspired by The Little Black Book challenge. I began writing but got carried away, and is too long to submit to this challenge. The original text is not yet complete but can be found here. I look forward to turning this idea into a series of short stories titled The Journals of Curiosity.
Out of Time
A Day in February - Sometime in the Evening A package arrived at his doorstep. The video doorbell failed to notify him of the movement at his door yet again, so he was surprised to find a small yellow package waiting on him when he took the trash to the curb that evening.

Did you know that Leo's are up there as one of the most hated signs of the Zodiac? Why? Put simply, we're high maintenance according to others. We think we're always right, we think the world revolves around us, we're arrogant, we have too much ambition but we're also lazy, we're prideful and we hate criticism.

When you look up the word Aries in the dictionary, there is a tiny picture of me sitting right next to it. I am the complete and utter embodiment of what an Aries is all about. I was born on March 25, a Spring baby! Since it is in beginning of the Spring season, Aries birthdays represent rebirth of life. The coldness slips away, and the warmth of the sun comes back to the Earth’s surface. The flowers bloom so beautifully. There is nothing like it! Although the representation of grace, bliss, and life is what the Aries season entails, it is not always rainbows and sunshine in our world.

Chapter 1 "Once upon a time, far far away there lived a king…" “No, no, and once more NO!” shouted the king angrily. “It’s boring and old-fashioned. All fairy tales and chronicles start like this. Mine should be different, exceptional, royal!”

Astrology and birth charts have been the topic of conversation for women for centuries, but now it seems that more and more people are learning that you are more than just your sun sign and that you have several other signs in your chart, which can set you apart from why you have differences from your friends who you share signs with, but they were born on a different day or month, which affects the rest of your personality and quirks that make you, well, you.

They say astrology is supposed to allow some insight within you to be able to understand yourself better. With my assessments over the many three hours on the subject, I feel confident in my thesis. As the sign branded with so much hate, I had to understand why we are to be perceived in this manner. Being born at the ending of spring, beginning of summer not only brands me a twin but upon futher analysis also establishes that me being born in the third decan of Gemini’s lovely establishment. Essentially this decan is showcasing the symbiotic relationship between the colliding Mercury, and Uranus. Meaning not only am I a Gem but I also belong to Aquarius which is lovely considering their the humanitarians of the great twelve.
