'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' Will Get A Season 2 In 2022
With the season of the newest show set in the galaxy far, far away, The Bad Batch, set to come to an end shortly, a surprise announcement has been made today confirming a second season has been greenlit. Since it began, many fans have speculated as to whether or not a second season was necessary, but it looks like Clone Force 99 are going to be here for longer than most anticipated.

W. Rinzler, has tragically lost his battle with pancreatic cancer and passed away at the age of 58. For those who don't recognize the name, Rinzler was responsible for some of the best books linked to the making of some of Hollywood's biggest and most famous movies. But he is, perhaps, best known for his books related to the Star Wars franchise.

The half-hour conversation featured authors Cavan Scott, Justina Ireland, Charles Soule, Claudia Gray and Daniel José Older, along with Krystina Arielle, the host of Star Wars: The High Republic Show.

On the other hand, the origins of characters like C-3PO and R2-D2 were nice little treats for fans. Creator Georg Lucas wanted to see one more character on screen in the prequels, however. Originally, Lucas planned for the iconic trio from the original trilogy to make an appearance in Revenge of the Sith, and that included everyone’s favorite smuggler.

Throughout the years, the late Sir Alec Guiness, Ewan McGregor, and James Arnold Taylor have all put their stamp on the character of the illustrious Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi. Sir Alec Guinesss portrayed the character in the original trilogy, which consists of A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. Later, when George Lucas created the prequel trilogy, Ewan McGregor took over the role of the younger Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. He also did brief voiceover work for a scene in The Rise of Skywalker. Additionally, McGregor is set to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the upcoming live-action Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, set for release in 2022. James Arnold Taylor voiced Obi-Wan Kenobi in The Clone Wars animated series, as well as a couple of brief appearances in Star Wars Rebels.
