Boba Fett's Return

Boba Fett is rumored to return in The Mandalorian Season 2 and it would be a wasted opportunity not to include him. That image above was from a member of the tribe and definitely got the fans speculating on the likelihood of Boba Fetts return. Here's why and how I think he will make his grand return in Star Wars.

Why:

Boba Fett has ties to the Mandalorians , the Empire, and Kamino.

Din Djarin is seeking out Mandalorians saying, "I've been quested to bring this one back to it's kind, If I can locate other Mandalorians, they can guide me." Mandalorians have had a long standing history with the Jedi Order, that took an interesting turn when one of their own, Tarre Vizsla, became the first Mandalorian of the jedi order, now his DARKSABER (which is a strong symbol for Mandalore) has fallen into the hands of the Empire who decimated Mandalorians. In order to better find the jedi that can better protect the child, finding Mandalorians that associated with the Jedi, such as Sabine and Bo Katan, can get him closer to the force wielders.

Kaminoan Emblem

Kaminoans have had a history with Mandalorians and the Fetts since Boba was a clone of Jango Fett and a portion of Jango Fett's army was trained by Mandalorian Warriors such as Fenn Rau. Since Dr. Pershing definitely had a history with Kamino (he adorned a Kaminoan emblem on his uniform) he is key to target to capture as he would know information about the Child's species, where he may have originated from, and vital ways to shut down Gideon's plans with the child.

Somehow catching wind of Boba Fett's survival, possibly from a captured Dr. Pershing or even the Armorer could lead to him seeking out Boba Fett.

Here's how I want to see Boba Fett return in a Grand Way:

Din Djarin, a Mandalorian skilled in Bounty Hunting, would seek information from the Armorer about the Mandalorian survivors of the Purge (who can connect them to Jedi and force weilders such as Ahsoka Tano) as well as capture Dr. Pershing who would know vital information about The Child and about the Imperial Intentions with it.

Canon: Dinn Djarin will return to Tatooine

The Armorer informs Din Djarin of a rumor of a Mandalorian that has garnered notoriety on Tatooine as a Lawman, and Djarin is determined to go to Tatooine to find out if this person is truly a Mandalorian who can assist him or if he just stole the armor.

Canon: A Tusken Raider aware of the Razor Crest descending near territory.

Upon arriving to Tatooine, the Razor Crest is spotted by a Tusken Raider that seems to be the same Tusken Raider we've seen in promo (It's Boba Fett in disguise and nobody can tell me otherwise)

Canon: Cobb Vanth wearing Boba Fett's damaged armor as Sheriff

Dinn Djarin will have a gunslinging showdown with the Sheriff, Cobb Vanth. By now, Cobb Vanth has spread law from Freetown onto other settlements of Tattooine, becoming the Chief of Mos Eisley and considers Bounty Hunters like Dinn Djarin illegal scum and villainy.

Canon: Vanth had a Huttlet called Borga the Hutt.

Upon defeating Vanth, the town Huttlet, called Borga, shrieked out loud, alerting Tusken Raiders to attack (Hutts were revered by Tusken Raiders). Djarin flees quickly with the Mandalorian Armor Vanth wore, prepared to return it to the armorer. As Djarin flees the town, a Tusken Raider shoots at the speeder bike forcing Din Djarin to walk all the way back to where his ship was left.

Canon: Highly publicized image of a Tusken Raider (alluding to someone behind the mask???)

On his way there, he noticed Tusken tracks, and comes face to face with a Tusken Raider, who quickly defeats Din Djarin and knocks him out.

Djarin awakes, only to see the Tusken Raider repairing the damaged armor Dinn retrieved from Vanth in a traditional style only exprienced Mandalorians can achieve.

Canon: a figure with the *spurs* appears- alluding to be Boba Fett or his imposter Vanth

As he got up, he seen that a woman was holding the child, it was Fennec Shand (alluding that the figure that walked up to her revived her).

Canon: Boba Fett is not yet labeled "dead" on any major Star Wars cite. Temuera Morrison has also been creditted to appear in Mando Season 2

The Tusken Raider took his mask off and revealed himself to be Boba Fett. Boba will likely have a scared face and reveal how he survived (and likely changed to Mando) and elaborate on why he has been in hiding after all of these years following his embarrasing defeat and Jabba's death.

Not Canon: Boba Fett past romance with fellow Mercenary? (search Sintas Vel or Xasha)

Boba Fett revealed that he and Shand have shared history as the galaxies most skilled mercenaries, and that he helped heal Shand after she suffered injuries from the zealous bounty hunter that double crossed Din.

Canon: Jabba's palace was abandoned soon after his death after supplies ran out

Boba Fett revealed he was going to take back his armor anyways, but it was best that Djarin took it, and that since his fall, he has become a more peaceful man, dressing as a Sand Person and dwelling in the B'omarr Monastery that once housed Jabba the Hutt.

Fett didn't seek to reveal himself to the galaxy yet, and informed Djarin that he is going to melt down the armor and that Djarin needs to provide the beskar to his daughter, who is hunting Moff Gideon.

Fett, a skilled bounty hunter, was able to locate other figures that would be important to Din Djarin, including Fenn Rau, who was once close to his father and helped train the clones on Kamino. Rau is a direct contact to other Mandalorians including Sabine Wren and Bo Katan herself, who could likely aid in finding rogue jedi and his daughter. Fett sends Din to Concord Dawn.

Canon: Mandalorians including Fenn Rau trained Jango's clones

Upon finding Fenn Rau on Concord Dawn, Rau also informed Djarin of intel and schematics of the Imperial stronghold on Kamino, revealing that was where Jango Fett cloned his army that he helped train. It was here, most likely, that Boba's daughter had been fishing for answers about the imperial facility.

Canon: Dinn will be on a water world

Djarin went to Kamino to locate the daughter of Boba Fett. After some time, he located her and the two teamed up to locate the Imperial stronghold on Kamino.

Many speculate Sasha Banks to be Sabine or a force user, but it would be cool if this was Boba's daughter (in legends named Ailyn Vel).

Upon getting near Moff Gideon's Imperial Outpost, Djarin sent their location to Boba Fett and his other contacts upon getting captured.

Meanwhile, Boba Fett figured out that Fenn Rau was actually a clone and lead Din Djarin on a trap, but Djarin already fell for the trap and remained captured on Kamino with the child..

Gideon had cloned not only decoys of himself, but also decoys of other reknown Mandalorians in an effort to attract Mandalorian bait for him to kill.

Gideon was nowhere to be found, but Djarin freed his Mandalorian prisoners and other captives of the facility, who were being cloned as decoys.

EU concept for Boba Fett's Kamino vendetta

Boba tracked down Pershing, who admitted that he scrapped Boba's fathers genome, resulting in Boba shooting him in the face. Boba Fett would steal some of the cloning technology himself before setting the facility to flood itself in the Ocean.

Boba would decide to clone an army of Mandalorians in the near future since the people had been wiped out. He sought to donate what was left of his credits to do so, and allow the Mandalorian culture to wholeheartedly accept foundlings like Din.

The rescued Mandalorians of the Imperial facility lead Din to find Bo Katan, Sabine Wren, Tristan Wren, Rex, Korkie Kryze, and more..

They would presume to hunt Gideon for season 3!
