Jackson

Judith awoke the next morning feeling happy. She decided she would take a walk in the park today since it was such a nice sunny morning. She loved the plains of Scandinavia. She loved living in Norway. She loved the blue skies that turned purple and pink in the evening. She loved the cool rain. She loved her culture. She was proud of it. She got dressed and headed to the door. "Hi darling. Don't you want breakfast before going anywhere?" Judith turned to find her moher at the stove. "No. I decided I would skip breakfast. Thank you though." Judith replied. "Oh. Ok. Be sure you come home in time for lunch." her mother said. "I will." said Judith. She headed out the door.

Judith arrived at the park a half hour later. She decided to grab some meats and sweets along th way and brought a blanket for a picnic. She set the blanket by her favorite tree at the park, set out her meats and sweets, and strated to eat when she noticed a friend of hers, Samantha, standing about twelve feet ahead of her. Judith smiled and waved. Samantha came over to her and sat in front of her. "How are you?" Samantha asked. "I'm fine. Been thinking a lot." Judith replied. Samantha looked puzzled. "What are you thinking about." she asked. Judith told her all about Jackson, what happened, and what she felt about him. Samantha gasped. "You should stay away from men like that. He could be dangerous." she said. Judith looked her friend in the eye. "Maybe that is what I'm looking for. Someone dangerous." Samantha looked shocked. "But you want someone who is ruthless and cold." Judith smiled at her and shrugged. "He may turn out great." Samantha looked upset. "You can't tell my family. They will never let me out of the house. They are very protective of me." Samanatha crossed her fingers even though she didn't agree. "Your secret is safe with me."

Judith got home late. She decided instead of having lunch with her family she wanted to stay with Samantha for the picnic. Her mother met her at the door. By the look on her face, she could tell Samantha did not keep her word. "Samantha came by. She told me you had fallen in love with a pirate, Judith." Judith shrugged and tilted her head. "Yeah. I have." she replied. Her mother stepped in front of her when she went to walk by her. "We are talking. I don't want you to see that man again." her mother said firmly. Judith looked at her in horror. She couldn't believe her mother was doing this. "But mom." she began. Her mother held her hand up. "I don't want to hear about this ever again, Judith. Just do what I say."

Tears wheld up in Judith's eyes. She decided she would look for Jackson and run away with him. She was of legal age and could do whatever she wanted. She did nothing but think about him, even though she only met him once. She had heard of him before but never seen him until that day. She believed he was her fate. She had to carefully plan everything though. She didn't want to rush into anything just yet.

She went to bed that night in tears, feeling nothing but agony. She thought to herself that maybe Jackson would take her in. Or maybe he wouldn't. Maybe he wouldn't care for her. She decided to stay up that night and give it thought. She was so angry with Samanatha for telling her mother about Jackson. She was leaving for sure.
