Is 'Pegging' Related to Feminism?

I don't think so...

Let me start this story by saying that I in no way judge what types of sexual activities people prefer. My stories are my take on situations, from a pretty vanilla girl, and are my perspective only.

But one thing I do judge is the new version of 'feminism.' It annoys me. The term has been so shoved in our faces with drastic measures, that it's trashed the meaning of the word. Even more annoying is men getting on the bandwagon and saying that they are feminists as if it were a credential on a resume. To me, a male doesn't have to label himself a feminist to treat women equally.

So here I am on a dating app (I had been trying a few of them out), and a nice-looking guy starts up a conversation. We chatted for a couple of days, and I was really liking what I knew of him so far. Then one day he asked me what I was into sexually, to which I replied that I was, "Vanilla with a sprinkle of spice on top."

Then he asked me, "Are you into pegging?"

I had no idea what pegging was.

"Google it," he said.

As I read about it I felt a little uncomfortable! Nooo way nope. This was not something I could see myself doing, not because I disagreed with it, but it just wasn’t within my vanilla comfort zone.

Now for those of you who don't know what pegging is, it is where a chick does a dude up the butt with a strap on, yep. It disturbs me a little that a guy wants a girl to fuck him like she's a dude, so much grey area there. Now like I said if this is something you love, good for you, I would never deny someone the right to experiment and practice anything sexually (as long as it's safe and consensual)! I personally can only take so much, and so I politely told him I couldn't think of anything worse. I really wanted to know what he found in such an act, and I asked a bunch of questions in an effort to learn something new, and somebody's take on their likes and dislikes.

"I like being dominated, and with a chick doing that it makes me cum so hard. My orgasms are really intense. I'm all about feminism and equality!"

Nope, he lost me there. In the name of pleasure, sure thing. If you get intense orgasms from it, even better! But In the name of feminism, shut the fuck up. It is not! I don't see the correlation. I just don't. Feminism is NOT about females being males, it is about women being equal to men, but not actually BE men. We were created equal yet different, and there are just some things women can’t do the same as men, and vice versa. And that's fine! To me, accepting this means equality. If you wanna get pegged, that's fine! But don't say you're about equality and use that as a badge of honour to impress girls. Don't make the term something is it not.

I politely declined his offers and told him I didn't see it from a feminist point of view, that he should just stick to saying he loves it. He continued to try and talk me into it, and I was happy to listen to his point of view. I enjoyed learning about something new and learning about what makes some people ‘tick.’
