Hottest Bods of 2021
Sports & Enterainment's Best
All year long we have been calling 2021 "The Most Beautiful Year Ever." These productive and ambitious women have made that title a reality. Women like LaLa Moten have realized their dreams after their collegiate athletic careers have come to a close. She's now a working television journalist.
Women like Teanna McCuaig is winning the fight with mental health while still competing for her college track squad. Kayla Thompson became a conference champion hurdler who is now an activist and mental health specialist.
This list is full of greatness in the worlds of sports and entertainment. Instagram is a platform where women can share the story that they want to on their own terms. They can celebrate their accomplishments such as collegiate graduations, championships, new records and great opportunities.
They also no longer have to wait for anyone else to validate their self-worth. These women can show their followers every day that they are great just the way they are. That their bold choices are acceptable because they say so and that their bodies are beautiful, not because you say so, but because they just are.
Track athlete Ashley Worford, a regular in our "Hottest Bods" series said, "Looking at my page it is easy to tell I love my body but I’m working everyday to reach my own personal body goals I’m the gym. Being a muscular female hasn’t always been easy but you really just have to own it and if you don’t like it, change it ... Some positives are definitely loving myself more and not caring how others view me. Someone’s always going to have something to say so [you have to learn to] keep it pushing."
Some positives are definitely loving myself more and not caring how others view me. Someone’s always going to have something to say so [you have to learn to] keep it pushing. I also love being a natural body inspiration for other women.
We have been celebrating the "Hottest Bods" in sports and other forms of entertainment since the COVID-19 pandemic showed its ugly face and attempted to shut down our world in early 2020. With a lot of live events being shutdown, we decided to lift up and celebrate the women who decided to not allow depression and boredom to take over their lives. They kept working and inspired people all over the world to go forward in their work and passion.
Now we are nearly a week away from 2022 and it is time to honor the women who made this "The Most Beautiful Year Ever."
