Wild Weedan
Before the Dance
Along the outer edges of the Kingdom of Montebleu, in the thickest forest, live the Weedan. The Weedans are shy little critters who typically hide from intruders in their domain. They live in trees that they specially shape into cagelike structures of such intricate design. Weedans usually eat blackberries, mulberries, plums, and walnuts in the wild.
To catch a wild Weedan, one must first visit the Kingdom of Montebleu and the forest along the outer edges. You must search for their houses. Once you find their homes, you must open a bag of pecans, sit, and wait. There is nothing that a Weedan loves more than a pecan, and even if they have never had one before, the smell alone will drive them to distraction. Once a Weedan emerges, he will slowly make his way up to you. Now, if you make any sudden movements, the Weedan will disappear, and you will not be able to catch one. Also, if you have any vile, evil intent, a Weedan will sense this and not show themself at all.
Once the Weedan comes up and takes a pecan from you, you can hold your palm up. If it is a mature Weedan, it will jump on your hand and automatically begin tribal dancing. If it is an immature Weedan, it will jump into your hand and lounge.
The reason that an immature Weedan doesn’t dance is quite simple. When a Weedan reaches maturity and begins to dance, it makes a noise akin to musical notes; this tone they make sets the beat that they dance to. An immature Weedan cannot do this yet because the muscle responsible for this hasn’t fully developed yet.
Weedans love to take showers. In the wild, they bathe in miniature waterfalls. When they shower, they love using sweet-smelling flowers as shampoos and soaps. The better a flower smells, the more a Weedan wants to bathe with it. Once you’ve tamed your Weedan, it will use regular shampoos and soaps; just remember to get flowery scents for them.
Once you catch and tame your Weedan, the Weedan will want to go home with you. If you have a backpack for a cat, then you have all you need to transport a Weedan. A Weedan is perfectly content to ride in a bag that it can see out of. The Weedan feels safest when it can’t be seen but can observe everything.
Once you get your Weedan home, ensure you have a nice cage for your Weedan. You’ll never have to lock the cage door, but your Weedan will feel safer and more at home in an enclosure. Also, ensure you have plenty of fruits, berries, and nuts, especially blueberries and pecans. This is the diet of a Weedan. A Weedan can have a nibble of chocolate, no more than a nibble, as any more would be unhealthy for them.
If you would like your Weedan to learn to dance faster, then play music for your Weedan and dance for them yourself. This will help speed up the maturing process. A tame Weedan dances more of a balletic dance than the tribal dance of the wild Weedans.
These are all the tips I can think of to catch and care for a Weedan. I hope they help anyone who attempts to capture one.
