Throughout history, there have been numerous questionable stories of time travel that have captured the public's imagination. One of the most well-known is the tale of Andrew Carlson, who in 2003 reportedly invested $800 in the stock market and made an incredible $350 million. The Securities Commission suspected fraud, and the FBI subsequently arrested Andrew. However, to everyone's surprise, Andrew calmly admitted that he had traveled from the year 2256 and used a time machine to predict the behavior of the stock market.

The FBI was skeptical of Andrew's claims, and they began to investigate his identity. However, they were unable to find any records or information about him, which only added to the mystery. Despite his claims of knowing how to defeat diseases and predicting future events, the FBI couldn't verify his story. Furthermore, the fact that he arrived in 2003, a year when the US economy was struggling, cast further doubt on his claims. The FBI eventually arrested Andrew and put him in jail, but a month later, someone posted a $1 million bail for him, and he disappeared.

The story of Andrew Carlson quickly spread worldwide, with news outlets reporting on the supposed time traveler. However, it was later revealed that the story was a hoax created by the Weekly World News, a tabloid that often published sensational and fictional stories.

Similarly, the story of Rudolph Fence, who disappeared in 1876 and reappeared nearly 80 years later in New York claiming to be a time traveler, was found to be a work of fiction. The tale had been written about in newspapers and books, but it was eventually discovered that the story first appeared in a 1950s book of science fiction stories.

In 2006, a video surfaced on the internet that depicted a Swedish man claiming to have teleported to the year 2046 while fixing his kitchen sink. In the video, he meets his 70-year-old future self and shows off matching tattoos on their right arms. However, the video was later revealed to be an advertising campaign for an insurance company.

One of the most famous cases of fake time travel occurred in 1941 when a photo was taken of a man in a crowd who appeared to be dressed in modern clothing, including a printed t-shirt and sunglasses, while everyone else was dressed in formal attire. The photo went viral in 2010, and people began calling the man a time-traveling hipster. However, further research showed that the man's appearance was actually consistent with the time period, and his clothing and accessories were not out of place.

While many stories of time travel are fiction, the concept itself continues to fascinate people around the world. It is true that we are moving forward in time right now, but the idea of traveling to the past or future remains impossible. While teleportation is a real phenomenon, it does not work in the way that it is portrayed in movies and TV shows. Nonetheless, the allure of time travel and its possibilities continue to capture the public's imagination.

Why time travel is impossible ?

According to our current understanding of physics, time travel as it is typically portrayed in popular culture is impossible. There are a few reasons for this:

The laws of physics are consistent with the idea that time only flows in one direction, from past to future. This is known as the arrow of time. If time travel were possible, it would violate this fundamental principle of physics.

Time travel would require the ability to travel faster than the speed of light, which is currently thought to be impossible. According to Einstein's theory of relativity, as an object approaches the speed of light, its mass increases infinitely, making it impossible to reach the speed of light itself. This means that it would take an infinite amount of energy to reach the speed of light, making time travel impractical if not impossible.

Even if it were possible to travel faster than the speed of light, we don't know if it would be possible to travel back in time. Some theories suggest that time travel might be possible in certain circumstances, such as by traveling through a wormhole or through the use of a black hole. However, these theories are still speculative and largely untested.

The concept of time travel raises numerous paradoxes and inconsistencies. For example, if you went back in time and changed something in the past, it could potentially alter the course of history in ways that might make your own existence impossible. This is known as the grandfather paradox.

In short, while the idea of time travel is fascinating, the laws of physics as we currently understand them suggest that it is not possible.
