There weren't always dragons in the Valley. Long before the Dhyanians settled here, the Dragons were in abundance throughout the beautiful, luscious lands of Luminescence. Dragons and Originals lived in reciprocity and existed harmoniously for millennia of celestial moons.

Dhyanians travelled here from beyond the stars, bringing the last of their remaining familial groups in an attempt to repopulate and expand their dominion in the Galaxy of Shine. Their arrival on the 88th Silvery Moon of the 333rd Celestial Millennia was no coincidence, and it instituted the beginning of the Great Change, a colonization, oppression, and assimilation of the Originals that took place over the next 4444 celestial moons.

The Originals were the Ancient Protectors of the Dragons’ and the Great Change saw the abeyance of their Laws diminish and thus, the dishonoring of the Dragon Lore brought darkness upon the lands of Luminescence. A curse that impurified the radiance of the Originals and disconnected them from the Galatian Source of Divine Enchantment.

Serendipity was a talented storyteller, knowledge holder, and keeper of the old ways. An Original of the land, she was 3 Millenia and 369 celestial moons old, one of the last remaining pure full blood Original Elders. Serendipity was caught in her reminiscence and loved to talk about how things used to be before the Great Change. Her stories of the dragons were always wonderous and fanciful, but the stories she told about the Great Change were fraught with violence, bloodshed and death. The truths revealed within those stories often stirred up frightful anxieties with the kindlings.

Kindlings were the children of Originals and Dhyanians, a hybrid race of beings blessed with the power and magic to create new worlds. A power that could only be wielded by Kindlings of pure heart, redeemed from the darkness of Originals and initiated through the nine magic realms of the Dhyanians Divine Deities, through trials and tribulations of spirit. Not one Kindling had yet been successful and ascended into the Graciousness of the Luminous Shine.

Many battles between the Originals and the Dhyanians took place during the Great Change. It was a time of war, a war of land and water, a war over rights and law, a war for authority and leadership, a war that was lost by the Originals when the darkness took its final hold on them. From that moment, every shed tear and each drop of blood became a torrential river of infection throughout the beautiful, luscious lands of Luminescence, releasing a sickness that brought disharmony and discord between the Dragon tribes.

Much sorrow and grief engulfed Luminescence as the conflict between the Dragon Tribes escalated with ferociousness. The parallels of war between Originals and Dhyanians was played out amongst the Dragon Tribes and as the Originals witnessed the mirrored manifestation of strife and conquest, their decision to surrender to the Dhyanian invasion was the only way to appease the violent suffering and deathly torment.

The successful conquest of the Dhyanians and the continuing conflict between the Dragon tribes became the catalyst for the banishment of the Dragons from the settled lands of Luminescence into the dark abyss of the Valley. A place of despair, dread and dejection known to the Dhyanians, Originals and Kindlings as the Dragon Valley of Despondence. The Originals feared that this was the beginning of the end for their people.

The Dragon conflict bought about by the sickness, delivered by a torrential river of blood and tears, was a conflict never seen nor endured in the Lands of Luminescence before. There were 33 Dragon tribes throughout the lands, each dedicated to a specific clan of Originals. There was a Dragon birth to coincide with every new Original birth, this was part of the Dragon Lore. After the darkness and the sickness of the Great Change and the ensuing conflict of Dragon tribes, Originals and Dhyanians, the number of Dragons significantly decreased. The Dragons became hostile and violent, leading to their banishment to the Valley of Despondence.

The Dhyanians succeeded with their invasion and colonization, although the results of cross breeding with the Originals did not quite achieve the dominant results they were looking for. The power of the Kindlings relies on a two-fold ascension. A navigation of the Laws and Lore of both genetic streams, a marriage and unity of the Originals radiance and connection to the Galatian Source of Divine Enchantment and the Initiations of the nine magic realms of the Dhyanian Divine Deities.

Raising and guiding the Kindlings towards their ascension into the Graciousness of the Luminous Shine has become the Divine purpose of the Originals Eldership and the Dhyanians Familial Council. It is the desire of the Originals to fully restore their radiance and eliminate the darkness. Their hope is that they will free the Dragons of the sickness and live in harmony as they once did, allowing the Originals to again honor the fulfillment of the Dragon Lore. The Dhyanians however, have a different plan. Their purpose is to rule the Galaxy of Shine.

Serendipity is the Senior Chief of the Originals Eldership. Her radiance was handed down from her grandmother, as was the law, and was to be handed down to her granddaughter in the same way. Lore depicted the handing over of power and knowledge, but the darkness has disallowed this practice, as has the fact that Serendipity has not been blessed with a granddaughter, until now. Her daughter was married to a senior clever man of the Dhyanians, a man whose great-grandfather was the Most High of the Dhyanian Familial Council. They had been abandoned of children for more than a thousand celestial moons, a tragic reoccurrence that had seen Serendipity’s daughter, Pragmatis, focus her intentions inward to learn all she could of the old ways from her mother.

The Originals were Matriarchal in their expressions, unlike the Dhyanians, and Pragmatis had known that her fortunes would eventually change. It was for this reason she believed she would birth a daughter in the right timing and that the future of the Originals would be in her hands. Pragmatis also knew that this would be a new era for Dragons and the Dragon Lore.

A Redemption, a Revolution a Reminiscence.
