The Makli-Graveyard

Makli graveyard is a famous and historic graveyard in Sindh, Pakistan, with its sky touching popularity it also shares some secrets with the screaming graves, yes you heard it right screaming graves, people never visit it during midnights.

The students of a well known school were taken to the dreadful graveyard for a historic educational tour. Their tour turned into a dreadful day when their two students, Maira and Zara, went missing, they all tried very hard to find Maira and Zara but still they were missing. Maira and Zara’s day turned into night as soon as they blinked their eyes, all they could see were graves but no people, they got scared and shouted out loud but no reply, they both prayed to god that this is a dream, just a scary dream because they knew what happens here at night and as soon as they blinked their eyes they were back to their normal world. Everyone shouted at them that “where did you both go, this isn’t a joke, we all got so scared” and even they got suspended for a week.

But the horror wasn’t over yet, two days later when Maira was sleeping she saw a dream of getting back in the graveyard and then accidentally she fall into an open grave with a skeleton in it, she got so scared and when she was about to shout she woke up. Later that night she called Zara and said “I saw a dream related with that graveyard incident, Zara got shocked and said that she also saw a dream related with the graveyard incident.

The next day they both met each other and told everything more briefly to each other. When Maira got home and slept, when she woke up she realised that she is back in the graveyard, she ran and ran until she got out from the graveyard, until she noticed that it was a loop and she was back at the place where she started, she heard a girl crying and when she looked around she saw Zara, Maira went to her and asked that how long have you been here? Zara replied “since last night, I have tried a gazillion times to get out from here, but every time when I get out I am back”.... ... . Maira thought that if it’s loop so even if I die here nothing will happen to me and I will get back in the actual world her reasoning was that loops are fictitious. She was brave so she took a risk and hit Zara with a rod and yes her theory was right Zara disappeared but then she realised that how was she gonna get back so she cried there for more than half an hour until she decided to look around the grave to find something sharp, as she was looking around she saw something really shocking there were a lot of dead bodies of Zara in the last corner of graveyard, she got that scared she fainted and she realised that her theory was wrong and Zara died for actual, but the only thing she couldn’t understand was that how there were a lot of dead bodies that of Zara so she sat and thought about it all the while and said that how did I became a murderer and then she understood that this never ending loop and if she wants to get out she needs to die because if all people the loop die so loop will begin again, so without wasting any other moment she hits her self with a rod and dies and gets back to the time when she went for the trip.
