The Full Moon

Have you ever spent your time gazing in the sky praising the moon? I guess we all have done this as therapy to escape the hustles of this worldly life. Gazing at the moon, enjoying this breathtaking sight, I am writing this story similar to what poets and lovers have done for centuries, living in their own world of imagination. The soft silvery glow and radiance of full moon illuminate the night casting captivating shadows across the world.

The full moon when majestically rising above the horizon evokes a sense of mystery and magic. It creates a romantic ambiance that casts a spell on people. You must have felt a sense of wonder and awe gazing at the full moon as if you are witnessing the precious moments belonging solely to yourself. The romantic allure of the full moon is further enhanced by how it reflects on soft sands, a tranquil lake, and a secluded beach. The luminosity of full moon dancing over the water creates a gleaming vision.

As the night progresses, the full moon lives to its fullest, vibrating the mysterious energy that illuminates the vision of poets and lovers. Its magical ambiance makes the sight hard to forget. Everyone no matter whether creative or not find the sight of a full moon dreamy making them remember their unfulfilled love or aim. Seeing the full moon one sided-lovers are compelled to say, at least we share the same moon…yeah it was pretty basic lols.

Let me tell you the science of the full moon. It is a lunar phase in which the moon faces the opposite side of the Earth from the sun, that’s why it is fully illuminated facing the earth. At full moon phase, it appears fully bright circular disk in the sky. You can have this sight once in 29.5 days, during this time of the month the moon is brightest and most visible throughout the life. Just like the poetry and imagination of lovers, full moon also has been the subject of various myths and folklore.

It is believed throughout the world that full moon affects human emotions and behaviors, but no scientific evidence is available to support this theory. People believe that full moon can induce lunacy in some people. Full moon creates an illusion in which it appears similar size to sun although it is 400 times smaller than the mighty sun.

Full moon also has been associated with a number of natural phenomena like animal behaviour and tides. It is believed that some animals are more vocal and active during full moon, mostly it is associated with wolfs yeah do you people remember Wolf Diaries or Pyar ki aik khani.

Art and literature has also been associated with full moon as it is taken as the symbol of romance and poetry. People also believe it has mystical powers. Apart from literature, it has also been studied scientifically and it has been suggested that full moon affects sleep patterns. Not forgetting for aesthetic photographer it is a popular choice. In the middle of velvety night,

A light beacon that is so bright,

A silvery disc, round and so full,

Mystical orb of moon in all

Its radiance is spelling in the land,

The beautiful glow so grand,

Casting enchanting spell on all,

As you rise to heed the call.

The night awakes with the grace,

With a beauty and the sight to embrace,

As the full moon rises high,

It paints the world magically, nigh.

It is a symbol of endless change,

Its waning and waxing is ever strange,

In its fullness, it reigns supreme,
