It was a warm summer evening when Jane arrived at her vacation cabin in the woods. She was looking forward to a week of relaxation and solitude, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, as the days went by, strange things started happening around her.

It started with small things like finding her belongings in places she didn't remember leaving them. She brushed it off as her forgetfulness, but then the incidents started to escalate. One morning, she woke up to find her favorite mug smashed on the floor, and she was certain she had left it in the cupboard the night before.

Jane became increasingly paranoid and started to feel like she was being watched. She checked and rechecked the locks on the doors and windows, but everything seemed secure. She started to hear strange noises in the middle of the night, and every time she tried to investigate, there was nothing there.

As the week progressed, Jane's mental state deteriorated. She couldn't trust anyone, not even herself. She was plagued by nightmares and began to doubt her own sanity. One day, while taking a walk in the woods, she saw a figure watching her from behind a tree. She tried to get closer, but the figure disappeared into thin air.

Jane knew she needed help but was too afraid to leave the cabin. She spent most of her time in her bedroom, huddled under the covers, trying to block out the world outside. She tried to rationalize her fear, but her mind had already convinced her that something was out to get her.

One night, she heard someone trying to break into the cabin. She panicked and called the police, who arrived shortly afterward. They searched the area but found no evidence of an intruder. Jane felt relieved, but the feeling was short-lived.

The next morning, she found a note on her kitchen table that read, "I'm watching you." She didn't know what to do. She was terrified and felt completely alone. She tried to call her friends and family, but the phone lines were down. She was trapped in the cabin, with no way to escape.

Days went by, and the situation only got worse. The noises and strange occurrences continued, and Jane was convinced that she was going insane. She couldn't sleep, and her mind was consumed by fear. She started to see the figure more frequently, but every time she tried to get closer, it vanished into thin air.

One morning, Jane woke up to find a note on her pillow that read, "You can't escape me." She knew then that she was not alone in the cabin. She tried to call for help again, but the phone was still dead.

Finally, on the seventh day, the police arrived. They found Jane in a state of hysteria, and it took them a while to calm her down. They searched the cabin but found no evidence of an intruder. It was only after they left that Jane found a hidden camera in her bedroom, which had been transmitting her every move to an unknown location.

Jane never returned to the cabin again. She knew that she had narrowly escaped a dangerous situation, but the experience left her scarred for life. She could never forget the feeling of being watched, of never knowing when the next attack would come. The incident changed her forever, and she could never shake the feeling that someone was always watching her.
