“Akash’s tears wouldn’t stop pouring down. The baby is cute and absolute bliss. She’s a blessing and sweetness in my life, exclaimed Akash”, on seeing his daughter for the very first time.

Tara, embracing her motherhood, walked out of the hospital after 3 days holding her baby along with Akash with a faint scent of nonchalance towards their car, stood at the vast open parking lot. Her eyes went teary in the sight of the golden evening. It felt as the dusk had begun showing happiness and couldn’t hide the blush seeing the baby.

The path leading to their home was lit with sun rays as to paving a gold carpet. It was a beautiful moment one would hold it firmly with all their might, not to let go.

Akash is a very well renowned culinary expert and specializing in confectioneries in Mumbai, the “Maximum City in India”. Tara, on the other hand, was an author herself and she had written few best-selling novels, with genres of fiction and romance.

“Akash and Tara name their little girl Vibha, meaning bright and shining as that was their first instinct as they saw her and the day they could recollect when they were coming back home.”

“The sweetness from Akash’s creations wasn’t locale anymore, and the word was widespread beyond the state only to ask for personalized events and nothing less.”

Akash, hearing this, was enthralled for a moment, again which he picked up the phone and dialed Tara, with a confused tone, to share this news. He spoke, “Tara, I’m excited about the offers and the hard work is paying off but at the cost of missing my moments with Vibha, who came to our world just a few months ago. I’m totally confused and messed up. I’m closing early today and coming home. I just want to spend time with you both”.

Tara calmly said, “come home safe and we’ll talk about this. Don’t take unnecessary thoughts into your mind and be as sweet as your magic creation, the “Chocolate Cake”. That also reminds me, I am craving for it. Can you get me a slice of chocolate cake if any is left?”

“I am packing them as I speak to you. I had made one a couple of minutes ago, let me pack the entire thing and bring it home to enjoy with our little angel”, said Akash and ended the call.

Akash quickly closed up, unpacked, and grabbed Audi’s keys to flash home. In less than an hour, Tara could hear the bell ringing and she reaches to greet Akash and the chocolate cake.

Vibha giggles and is smiling with eyes wide open on seeing her father. It was a sight for Akash and he quickly dropped to his knees and reached to her. Akash starts humming softly, my love and dear angel and makes up awkward faces to make her smile.

Tara says, “you both keep at it and I’ll get this to slices and bring it for us.”

Neither of them nods or makes a sound, and Tara walks off with a smirk.

“Tara gets 3 slices of the cake, and they all gather around. They place a slice of it near Vibha and she playfully wipes it all over her face, hands, and her one-piece dress. Although it seemed like a mess, they were overjoyed and started enjoying their slice at it.”

Akash says, “listen, Tara, what do you think of what we spoke on phone? Seeing our girl, I don’t have the mind to leave you both and go travel around”.

“Don’t say that Akash. This is a moment for what you’ve worked all these days. Do not let go of it now. Vibha wouldn’t be happy about it either when she hears at a later point. We’ll overcome this and it is not all time staying away. It’s only when an event kicks in, and the specific seminars happen. We’ll overcome this together and spend time collectively”, Tara affirmed.

At Tara’s words, Akash broke into tears and hugged each other while Vibha was completely immersed in her world with the chocolate pastry.

With Tara’s encouragement, Akash flew across to various events and his fame spread grew beyond the country. He delivered delicious items and also exceptional speeches at various events and guest lectures.

On one fine day, in the mid of chilly winter days, Akash, as he was driving back home got struck with a life-threatening accident. He was quickly taken to a hospital and was treated, which saved his life. But to regain consciousness, took several months and a lot of mental toll on Akash. Tara was staying strong for both Akash and Vibha.

Akash and Tara planned their finances accordingly and properly, so despite the terrible events and mishap that had occurred, they came unscathed from it.

They concentrated on Akash's recovery mentally and physically. Also, came to a conclusion to work around the restaurant part and take it up later.

After few years of education and practice, Vibha took over her father's bakery and started out as the lead chef.

On a fine sunny day, the parents decided to visit Vibha and check the status and how it's been with her around the bakery.

Vibha said, “a few minutes to go to fulfill my dream from long, to treat you both to my favorite and the lovely masterpiece that I picked up from dad, adding my unique signature touch”.

Akash thrilled and excited, did not hide his excitement.

Tara seemed lost in the love-filled air by her husband and daughter, and couldn’t stop herself from asking, “what are you guys giggling about leaving me off”?

Vibha with a sheepish smile, lovingly said, “hold on mother, it’s your precious daughter’s surprise for you”.

The funny banter and memories down the lane run through, and the oven beeps. Vibha asserts to be back in few minutes and quickly runs towards the oven in excitement and pulls out the baked bread.

With all the joy, Vibha sniffs the delicious scent of the bread. She exclaims, “perfect”!

Vibha worked her magic by draping the well-baked bread with chocolate, cream, and other essentials with its aroma spreading beyond containment. She felt elated, at this point and glanced at the beauty she brought to shape.

After the final touches, Vibha brought the chocolate slices especially for her doting father and mother, a slice each and on for her, and they sat and rewound their memories and enjoyed the slice of chocolate cake.
