Short Story
Seven Minutes in Heaven. Content Warning.
There was something so beautiful about weightlessness. Too high up to feel himself free falling, but too low to the ground to feel the pull of anything but Earth, Brody was suspended in perfect balance between the Earth and the Moon. Through his helmet visor, he could still see the corner of the moon’s surface, painted against a backdrop of endless stars.

Monster Heel-in-Law (Part 1). Top Story - August 2026.
The aura was wild, yet magical, at the weekly show for Infinity Women's Wrestling. The main event was a captivating one, as Cassie Horn, a highly popular fan favorite in IWW, faced off against Kristina Richards, an arrogant spoiled princess. Both women started their careers at the same time, each one had six years under her belt, and they had went through each other on more than one occasion, either for title contention or for actual titles.

The Shower
On Board He was down on his luck and saw an advert in the paper. It was to take part in a trial which would involve being monitored on a two week Caribbean cruise. A suit and wardrobe would be provided on the cruise so he would fit in with the clientele and not be noticed by them. He had to follow certain patterns but nothing too rigorous.

So Much for an Early Night's Sleep. Top Story - August 2026.
Nellie couldn’t help but whistle as she headed to the bathroom. It was 10:45 pm, and for once, she was going to bed early. Nellie usually went to bed anywhere between 11:30 pm and midnight, and if she was being particularly naughty, 12:30 am. Only to have to wake up early for work. It wasn’t that she didn’t constantly try to have a better night schedule. Nellie was actually doing better than she used to. Generally speaking. It was just that after a busy day where she didn’t have much time to herself, it was just too easy for Nellie to surrender to the temptation to stay up past her bedtime so she could have a ‘few’ extra minutes of reading, YouTube, etc. Nellie thankfully was still getting enough sleep to function, but she knew that her body needed more in order to actually be well-rested.

Smooth Criminal Astrologers
There are men who arrive in Canada with two suitcases, a university transcript, three winter coats insufficient for the winter, and such an honest terror of government forms that they preserve every receipt for seven years; and there are other men who arrive with one suitcase, no winter coat at all, and nevertheless seem from the first morning to understand that humanity itself is a receipt which, if folded correctly, may be presented for reimbursement.

House of Salt
Martin took a second look at Sarah, squinting slightly this time, as he wasn’t quite sure what he was seeing. She looked thin, he thought, but not in the usual sense. She was still the same unassuming woman she’d always been, wholesome and clean in her dark blonde ponytail and soft grey sweater.

Changes
The old bandstand held so many memories for me. It took pride of place in the Recreation Ground at Beckenham, where I grew up in the 1960s. Not much happened in this otherwise sleepy suburban town to the south-east of London. But I can never forget the time in 1969 when a free pop concert was organized by a ragtag bunch of musicians from the area, including my friend Lenny. He’d been talking about it in the Rat & Parrot for weeks.

The Last Command
August 18. 43 degrees Celsius. Sweltering heat, 50 km/h winds and a hazy red hue of smoke filled the Okanagan air. News and weather reports reverberated a similar sentiment on the hour, every hour: An uncontrollable wildfire near Myra, British Columbia is the worst the Okanagan has ever experienced throughout it's history. The fire's blaze incinerated flora and fauna alike as well as any animals that may not have been able to escape it's hellish flames. Animals that did escape had the freewill to do so - unlike, Copper. She had no way to flee nor the desire to disobey her master.

Eclipse
Introduction An appropriate image from Steampunk Stuff here The music is "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden" Eclipse The Aetherwind was on its first flight since the refit. All the power was not taken directly from solar panneling on the balloon body, and it was so efficient it could also run on moonlight and starlight.
