No One Left Alive
No one can hear you scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Drifting farther away from the ISS after being severed from her tether, Luitenant Brittany Marsh's heartbeat was pounding inside her space suit. Her radio communications had been severed and mission control's attempts to reach her were as empty as the space she now floated through. Her visor methodically fogged with her panicked breath as she watched the space station drift farther away.

The Kalamalka Sacrifices
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. The flickering flame danced seldomly as broken panes of glass in thick pine boarded windows invited crisp oxygen into the stuffy, stagnant wood enclosure. Night after night, week after week, month after long-isolated month, the cabin shared no new memories with any new visitors yet, there it was—a pricket with a candle impaled upon its base and a flame that swayed back and forth. No additional light beside the moons could penetrate the window of the pitch-black interior of the cabin but you could tell someone or something was moving inside.

Dragon Tongue
"There weren't always dragons in the Valley. Hell, the most we'd get down here would be Crawlings when the swamp spilled over. Oh right, you're not from here. Crawlings are spider-like creatures the size of hounds with faces resembling that of crocodiles. Their scales run around it's whole head and body but it's legs are hairy, spindly and webbed-like, like a Vampire Squid if it had spiders legs. Oh phoenix-toes, where the hell are my manners; I'm Vince. I'd say it's nice to meet ya, friend, but I'm not entirely sure you or I will survive the attack on this town here so let's forgo the pleasantries at the moment and focus on the task at hand. Getting the slippery-frog-knuckle out of here!"

A Space Between the Clouds
Somewhere, inside your pulsating, glowing soul there is a chasm of space dedicated to a very particular shine of harmonic convergence. This coming together of energies, as opposite as they may seem, are actually one in the same. Like yin and yang, you must accept all the darkness with light and the light with the darkness: balance within your soul will fill you up and love for your true self, like the meniscus of a chalice, will begin to flow over abundantly. Why Have You Stopped Smiling?
Your First Lesson in Happiness Do something for me; smile. Smile for these next few sentences and notice something start changing in your attitude and mind. It's silly isn't is? Smiling without something being funny. Without a camera in your face or someone to smile at. It's not completely natural to smile in a situation that simply doesn't require you to smile.

Puppy Possibilities
12 legs. 6 eyes. And three big hearts. About three and a half years ago, my partner and I moved in together following our first year anniversary. It was momentous for both of us because we both knew we found the person we would stay with until we're dead. She'd chuckle at that statement because we joke that we are dead inside already. #deadinsidememesFTW
