Episode #14 Where is that Secret door? The Lodge?
A rush of excitement hits you as you are thinking about finding that secret door, it has to be here some where! Better be close too, time is running out! You and Jordan race down the dirt footpath leading back to the lodge, with hope of find the door immediately as you come to the first set of stairs. There stands the same young girl, hovering over the ground, still wearing her old style, white hospital gown saying, “Welcome to my tour, please listen to all rules and stories.” Even though all of this should be very weird to say the least, you and Jordan just look at each and both walk right by her; you do stop if only long enough to confirm she is just a ghost!

Fire Soul Part 2
Many years had passed since Taelryx had seen the sky shimmer like this. Through deepest night, stars twinkled with intensity - not their usual sort of casual fluctuation. Once there, then gone, then brighter than ever, before dimming to imperceptibility again. All across the sky it was like this, thousands of stars violently dancing.

Jet Black and the Escape from Culver City
Jet Black and the Escape from Culver City Starshipwriter. The asteroid didn’t have a name, only a number: a number four times as long as the locker code of the most security minded miner. The number wasn’t the product of some bureaucrat's finger strokes; it had a rationale, and was intended to specify a co-ordinate; but deep in space co-ordinates were just a bureaucratic fantasy, and to every single roughneck the number was superfluous: all they needed to know was that it was Culver City.

Kylia and the House of the Veil
First Arc - The House of the Veil Chapter 1 - A Girl The first thing I noticed was different was the warmth on my skin. The second thing was the sound of birds chirping. As for the third, it was the sound that woke me from sleep. I heard the light knocking again and finally opened my eyes.

Just Let Me Die Here (A Serialized Novel) 24
When I was little, I loved New Year’s Eve. We would always go to my aunt’s house to celebrate. She lived in a cabin next to a lake in Minnesota and I loved going there. On New Year’s, it was always freezing, but the adults would sit outside on the deck and watch the massive fireworks show that the town put on. It was the one day of the year I was allowed to stay up so late and I loved it. I would take a big blanket from the living room, a quilt my grandmother had made that smelled of mothballs and the chili that my aunt had cooked for dinner that night, another tradition, and go sit on the end of the small dock at the bottom of the yard. I would wrap myself up in the blanket and watch the fireworks.

This seems to last for quite some time, as you continue to enjoy floating above yourself, until you start feeling like your legs are being planted in the ground. That is when you begin to hear reality again.

Seeing Red
Novac, huh? Looks nicer than the last couple of towns. Then again, the previous town was a massive bonfire, the one before that was shot up and overthrown by criminals, and the one before that was attacked by Powder Gangers and got a little blown up here and there. So much hell in just a week.
