Episode #38 Is this really Heaven?
A smaller, old steam powered pump fire truck sits next to a brightly painted, red Fire Hall with a white siren attached to the outside front wall. The fire truck has a nice clean black frame with four old tires, reminding you of an over sized pedal bike tire. Having black rubber and white trim. The old fire truck is employing a two-section wooden ladder, elevated by a spring-loaded worm gear, assisted by a hand crank, hand wheels extending the ladder and rotating the ladder on a turntable with hose reels attached to its side and a steam powered pump stabilized in its center.

Dynasty: A Batman Tale
NOW Spending her time in night clubs was by no means Harley’s idea of a good time. Having drinks with friends and picking up boys was not something Harley Quinn did. No, she would need to have friends for that. Mr. J was so much more than a friend. She would do anything for him, even if that included sitting at a table with other young girls who were dressed for attention from the opposite sex at club Freeze. The same place she had been coming to for the last week, lying in wait for her target. Dressed in what Harley considered an atrocious plaid mini-skirt and snug halter top, an outfit favoring many unwelcome looks from all the men in the room. She sat there among other young women clinking drinks with toasts and gossip, all of whom were quick with a quip about each guy walking by. If I have to listen to one more of these snooty bitches yap about being angry with their daddies for not paying all their bills quick enough, I might just slash all their throats. That would be so much nicer. Those would be smiles I could sit here with.

At World End
Morning came faster than I thought it would and Johnny was starting to wake up after sleeping in a bed for the first time in two years. I couldn't go anywhere without the pooch, not even to the lavatory. As I stood there, half-awake, trying to relieve myself for the first time today, Johnny stood watching me carefully. I could tell that he was in a hurry to go for a walk, and probably do the same thing. After I finished, tucking myself back in the khaki pants I found in the closet when I got out of bed, I tapped my thigh, motioning for my trusted pal to follow.

Copper Penny
I was a nosy little girl. Curiosity overcame me one day, and I started sifting through Mamma’s jewelry box. There, hanging from a thin chain and looking like treasure, I found a tiny heart-shaped locket. The piece was no bigger than Daddy’s thumbnail.
