Dragon Masters Ch. 4
A few days after the dragon that attacked me in that alley way, and when Gwen took me to see her grandfather, the headmaster of Noreen University, I decided I’ve had enough adjusting time to my new situation. The Chronicles of a Galactic Diplomat
Chapter Two - The Commission Pictis - Capital of Sellissia, two weeks prior. I meandered the endless courtyard gardens of Peaceable Palace, my bare toes gripping the cool stone path, and my breath-taking in the aroma of the recent rain that had washed over it. Engraved into this ancient path are the words that make up The List of Wisdom- principles that are the foundation behind all Sellissian life and politics. It is required that all from the Peaceable line, a people chosen centuries ago for their natural peacemaking skills, follow this path - literally and figuratively - each day. But, at this moment, I was studying something else when my cousin, Petal, approached me.

The Trees Swallow People: Part 15
#HI If I said you were invited to a party, but I said it with a gun in my hand, would you go even if you didn't want to? I've always found it funny whenever I received a letter from the Department of Social Protection, welfare that is, proclaiming how I am invited to an exciting employment activation scheme… or else I may have my jobseekers allowance cut. They never outright say it, but it's heavily implied. My theory is they can't outright say they will cut it. Likewise, me holding a gun isn't me threatening you, but you probably should accept the invitation.
