Day 1: The Outbreak - Part 1
Sarah gripped the steering wheel, an uneasy feeling creeping into her body. She shook it off though. With everything the news has been reporting, these feelings were becoming increasingly normal. Government can’t make any kind of judgment on it currently, although they probably created whatever it was she thought as she brushed the brown strands of hair that had fallen out of her bun. All they know is that, whatever it is, it attacks the brain and makes them violent in nature.

Ok, so Jack had the quiet word with me and I’m gobsmacked!!! I always knew that his father is an Earl or Lord or something high in nobility but never took much notice because Jack is the youngest out of three boys, so (we thought) that he would never inherit the Earldom (or whatever it is called). Timothy, the eldest son, has decided to go into religion, he wants to be a Catholic priest which means he cannot inherit. The next son, Matthew, is living with a man (none of my business), and he will not change his lifestyle, so he cannot inherit. SO, the title is going to Jack (whose real name is Jeremiah) because he has “done the right thing” — married me and had children and has (and still is) working very hard.

PART I • A Strange Bunch • Senka and Vidra Senka was happy. It is not hard to be happy when you know so little. She could not know, as no one else could have, that her name was born out of a strange misunderstanding in the thick of a tragedy, but had firmly gripped her father’s story that her name was the last wish of her departed mother, the most important gift that she had left her with. In truth, the girl wished for her mother everyday, but this was only a vague desire for something not truly known, which could never be called suffering. She had a father whom she loved, who never raised his hands against her. Even the stepmother rarely beat her, and only when she truly made a mess of things and her father was not there.

As the throne room buzzed, the air felt thick with excited whispers and frantic feet. The young princess glanced from side to side as she watched the researchers and court officials from all over Hyrule settle in their respective seats, shaking their heads and rubbing their hands as their chatter overwhelmed the atmosphere. Her father sat behind her, next to the queen’s throne, while she stood at the balcony, stiffly watching the chaos below.

3 Years Prior The cries of the wounded had not entirely abated as Azerie Ramses of Light, Supreme Justice, Lord of the Azerie, and Triumvir, marched through the carnage. He wore black like the Sentinels, but that was where the similarities ended. Thin, gold stripes adorned the cuffs of his sleeves. A patch with a blazing sun and the words Lord of the Sun written below it was stitched on the right shoulder. On the left were the Sentinels' emblem of scales and olive branches and the word Azerie above it. Tied around his waist was a gold sash with a sun embroidered on the end and holding the sash in place was a black pin of the Order’s stylized A. To ward off the winter’s chill, he wore a heavy black cloak that billowed behind him as he walked.
