Am I ready for this
My heart would be pounding like a jackhammer, right? Is that the right way to put it? Especially if I had a working heart. It’s been three days since we started our trip to the perilous Black Hills in South Dakota. My writing is the scratches left over from normal, “chicken scratch,” as my good friend Emma once said to me. I miss her. She and her girlfriend India are staying behind and I’m so sad they are not here.
