View from the Background
Allison was always able to slip into the background. She was not unpopular and was included in things. However, her best friend, Leanne was the complete opposite. Leanne thrived with an audience and loved being the centre of attention. Allison felt this was fair as Leanne was, by all accounts, a remarkable girl. Great hair, sparkling personality and an infectious laugh.

Teddy Bear
"What is that, darling?" He had olive green eyes and the mind of the devil at times. But it was her and his true friends that caused him to learn to love, to laugh, to smile at the simple things. His friends helped so much and gave him hope. But it was her that made him realize that the world didn't have to be all black and white. It was her laugh that made him hear the laugh of the world, her smile that made him see the smile of strangers, and her touch that made him feel the earths beauty and not just its sins. He was lounging in the couch in her parents living room. His hair dark like one of chocolate, his skin of heavily creamed coffee, and the voice of a man with a slight temper.

Spira, the Tiniest Tree
Once upon a time, in a cozy little tree farm, nestled there among the giants, was a small spruce named Spira. “Spira,” pronounced like "speer-ah," means a little sprout, just beginning to grow. She was the smallest tree on the farm, with branches soft and fine, and needles that shimmered like dewdrops in the morning sunshine. The air around her was crisp and fresh, filled with the earthy scent of pine and soil, a peaceful haven under the wide blue sky.

The Psychic's Warning: A Haunting Premonition
I had always been curious about psychics, but I never had the courage to visit one. Until one day, when I was feeling lonely and frustrated with my marriage. My husband, Mark, had been distant and cold lately, spending more time at work than at home. He barely talked to me, let alone touched me. I wondered if he was having an affair, or if he had fallen out of love with me.
