Adventure
Demons and Dragons, Oh My!
There weren't always dragons in the valley. There weren't dragons in general. The ones that existed were digital or animatronic. This monstrosity before me was anything but gears and a synthetic covering. This was the size of a downtown metro bus made of pure green breathing flesh.

The Night Bellows
1 The Great Irony There weren’t always dragons in the valley. The Rectres told me that, long ago, the valley was sprawling with bright foliage and golden fruits that hung in abundance upon their many branches. That furred creatures replete with kilos of fresh flesh roamed and fought and played and mated. Before my time, that was normal, that wondrous Age of Plenty. An ignorant dream, I always thought, made by men too afraid to face the truth. Fairy tales and folklore, all. Even if the tales were true, the bedtime stories of a land without dragons proven to me, it would not change the world as it is. I am a Delver, nothing more. And I will never be but that.

The Dying Breath of Dragons
"There weren't always dragons in the Valley," Old Man Yuri said. Yuri was a grey-haired dwarf. Every s-word he spoke made a whistle through the gap in his teeth. "Before they showed up, we held back the armies of the dead best we could on our own. Turns out fire-spittin' lizards are handy when you're fightin' the undead."

The Fallacy of the Valley
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. At least that is what she was told and depending on who she asked the origin of the dragons ranged from a gradual emergence to a sudden onslaught. As the story typically goes, years before she was born, her people were forced to flee and seek refuge in some far off region, where half of those traveling died along the journey and the remaining are too old now and too traumatized to utter details beyond the fact that it did in fact happen. And the one’s young enough to remember held an impenetrable silence about the whole ordeal. As you can imagine, families grabbed what they could and rebuilt the best way they knew how. Now, years later, the descendants are left with tales and a crippling fear that the Valley is never to be sought out or even spoken about. So much so that they have been locked away and held to the strictest daily regime, only released at sunrise.

The Markings of the Chosen
The Markings of the Chosen Chapter 1 There weren’t always Dragons in the valley. But never the carcass of one so large that it splayed across the ground of our vineyard valley.

Zero Starbrigde Ogier Tower, Kelito city Agartha, Deus Solar system Tellus Federation Octo 19th Y-889 C.E Jonathan Haravok walked among the corpses of his comrades, ashes, and dust spraying through the air, concealing most of the damages that had been dealt to the Control post of the Ogier Tower. He still could not believe that things had gotten this worse. For years, he had anticipated some form of attack from the Dissenters. He thought he was ready for them. But their surprise attack had thrown him for a loop. The attack on Starlight Temple, where most of the members of the Stellar council convened, was something that he never once imagined happening. Starlight Temple was a sacred ground, sacred to both Starlight Order and the religion of Anunnaki. This was where the People of Agartha came to worship the Divine King, where Pilgrims come from different Quadrants of the Universe to learn more about the gods within that Pantheon. It was also where the Twelve Saints rested. Jonathan had naively thought that due to the oaths that the dissenters had sworn, that they would not cross a certain line, but he was wrong. He supposed if one was to break their oath, attacking the site where they had sworn that Oath was the perfect way. A lot of things were running through Jonathan's mind. So much had happened that he couldn’t believe most of it. But what troubled him mostly was the feeling he had gotten in his guts when he had confronted their leader. It was the reason why he had chased them all the way to Ogier Tower. His mind flashed back to the events that led to the encounter.
