The Journey
In the vast ocean of space, there was a feeling of peace and tranquility. At least, that's what Michael felt as he stared out at the stars from the cockpit. Like fireflies, the stars twinkled. Looking down at the monitors, Michael checked his trajectory along with his routine system check.

The Samhain Chronicles, Ch. 18
Danny slept very fitfully. His dreams were a mired, swirling fog, blending and melding chaotically one into the other. He saw the bonfire again, and figures - hooded and cloaked - chanting all around. There was a great stone table, too, in the midst of a circle of even greater stones, and a full harvest moon shining above. Hideous creatures swiped and clawed at him from the darkness, threatening to snuff out his light. He felt as if he were in a cold, dark sea, barely keeping his head above the surface before another crashing billow of darkness tried to push him under. Suddenly there was an incredibly bright light all around him, voices calling out in fear and agony, while the shadows fled from the flames spreading to the trees. Danny thought he heard a voice, gentle but more powerful than all the universe, ringing through the burning pines.

Circus: Hells Kitchen Chapter 3
Welcome To Life Jr walked out of a salon with dyed black hair. He looked into a nearby puddle and slightly smirked at how much he looked like his father’s human form. He turns to ask K where they should look first. He looked around and didn’t see K. He walked back inside the salon to see the workers swooning over K. They complimented on how great the black hair dye looked on him and worked well with his crystal blue eyes. Jr glared at K, “We need to go.” K nodded and excused himself from the workers and slid by to walk out. The workers called out in unison with either a ‘call me’ or ‘come back soon’.

Arthur The Bastard
ARTHUR THE BASTARD The rhythmic slinking of chainmail announced the arrival of WARD-PRINCE ARTHUR PENDRAGON as his horse cantered into the malodorous village of Trimoria before sun broke the morning clouds. The Black Sheep of Camelot, he knew they called him in hushed voices as the procession arrived into the icy hamlet. He set his face to match the reputation. During the fortnight’s travel north from Camelot to this frozen hellhole, he grew his beard to a scruffy length. The night prior he refused to sleep more than three hours to accentuate his sunken eyes. A scowl was now added to his haggard mien as the underlings stared daggers at him and the two knights, Bors The Younger and Sir Percival.

Unwilling
A grown woman, at least by her own standards, Isabelle sat at the grind stone in her father’s forge. The large stone was being spun by the waterwheel being dipped into the river right outside the workshop. The river wasn’t the grandest, and Desmond, on more than one occasion, complained about the slow speed of the running water.

Circus: Hells Kitchen Chapter 2
Crack the Whip The wave of bats reformed into K sliding towards the scene. A scene he hasn’t allowed himself to forget even to this very day. K dropped to his knees, crying for the first time in his existence. Crying at the site of the big top on fire. Burning a dark blue and yellow flame. Burning under a dark sky that only smiled in K’s pale face.

The Jenny
The forest canopy, pierced by strobes of moonlight, illuminated Teddy's path as he escaped his prison of three years. Most wouldn't think of the estate as a jail from afar with the mansion's nineteenth-century Georgian columned porch, stonewall, manicured lawn, and trimmed hedges. A well-appointed sign at the end of the long gravel driveway read, Boys Home of Americus.
