Trigger in the Title 😴 Forever Sleep 🛌

"Adora, come to tea," Prince Paxton addressed the princess who was hovered over a 3D printer. 🖨️

"Alright, one moment," she nodded without looking up.

"What are you trying to make?" Paxton walked over to Adora's work.

"Grandmother fell asleep by the curse of a spindle, so I was trying to make one to fall under the same spell," she explained.

"Why would you want to stay stuck in the same curse as Aurora?" he was shocked.

"Curse or cure?" she questioned as she started the printer up, "The spindle shall be ready after tea. ☕️

"Our grandparents Phillip and Aurora would be very disappointed to know you wanted this curse to happen to you after all of that time grandmother spent hiding in order to avoid it happening to her," Paxton stared at her with pleading eyes.

"Yeah all of that effort just for it to happen anyways," she shook her head.

"You would still awaken after true love's kiss though," he reminded his sister. 💖

"What are the odds though that would happen to me. Grandma had grandpa, but what do we have?" she asked while the tea was poured.

"There could be someone out there for you. We started letting anyone marry royalty now after all." 👸🤴

"Not like we spend all that much time outside of the castle, and when we do the world is a horrible place that I wish to not live in any longer."

"It isn't all horrible! Let us go out today and see for ourselves before you try using the spindle," they finished their tea and she grabbed his hand in agreement. They went out to the markets to shop for fruit. "Won't you miss the taste of oranges, they are your favorite fruit after all?" he questioned while bagging them. 🍊

"Yes they are lovely, but not good enough for me to want to continue living," Adora replied while they walked on and saw a couple buy fruit for an elder woman.

"Isn't that beautiful? Those people helped the old lady who didn't have enough money to be able to buy the apples herself," he gestured toward them.

"That lady very well could have had plenty of money to buy her own fruit, but could have just tricked them into thinking that she needed them to buy it for her," Adora scoffed. 💵

"They still did a kind thing either way."

"The amount of kindness going on around here will never override the constant evil I see."

"You will help rule this kingdom some day though. That is enough power to give them all hope," he countered again.

"There is many other people in the way. We have the court and council that has to sign off on what we want. It is difficult to sway them, and many of them won't retire until they are very old," she looked back at the castle and clicked her tongue at it. 🏰

"We could find a way to make it where they can only sit on the council for so long if that is what is needed," he tried yet again but failed. Adora the suicide beauty had her heart set on sleeping forever. They returned home and Adora had her last oranges before touching the spindle she made and falling into a deep sleep. She was asleep for years to come until her brother Paxton was so lonely trying to rule the kingdom on his own, he came to look at his sleeping sister and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Adora then awoke and asked, "I have a true love?"

"It's me Paxton, and I am rather lonely here without your help and ideas to rule. Please find hope with me or at least keep me company," he begged while the ghost of her grandmother Aurora came to float over her.

"Keep trying to find beauty in life even when it feels too mundane or painful for me. For the sake of your family, okay?" Adora cried while her grandmother disappeared from view and got up with a new motivation for change.

"Time for a real cure for the kingdom then," she sat up with renewed motivation and walked with her brother to the throne room in order to join the celebration of her return from slumber to help him rule the kingdom.
