The scent of apple pie wafted up from the bakery below the poky flat. Snow gagged. She hadn't been able to bear the smell or taste since her father died.

Here's where they are hatching the plan to avenge him.

Let's meet the team:

Doc: The brains of the outfit. Quiet and serious, with PhDs coming out of his ears. He treats everything like a game of chess, and considers those who think a dozen moves ahead mere amateurs.

Happy: The explosives expert. Don't ask him how he got his Glasgow smile.

Grumpy: The muscle. A retired MMA fighter with a short temper. Not what you might call chatty. A small mountain with stubble and tattoos.

Dopey: has velcro-fastened shoes because he can't tie his own shoelaces, but you need to breach a security system? Get past a firewall? He's your man.

Bashful: An ex cop, Det. Sgt Rose. He has useful contacts, but that's not why he's here.

Sleepy: The lookout.

Sneezy: The chemist. An expert on any poison or knockout gas. They might be the only substances he's not allergic to.

Target: The vault, at the heart of the Queen Inc. tower. Snow and the team had spent months gathering intel, planning. Tonight's the night.

In the flat, with the scent of apple pie hovering like a ghost, they went through the plan.

"We'll get past security thanks to Bashful's contacts and Dopey's know-how," he was saying.

Snow flashed Rose a smile. His ears turned bright pink.

"Guards?" asked Snow, pretending she hadn't seen and looking back to Doc.

"Sneezy and Grumpy will deal with them." A crackle of popping knuckles at this.

Happy finished his hotdog and wiped mustard off his chin. He grinned, though he didn't have much choice. "And I'll blow the vault."

It went off without a hitch. They got it, they got the diamond, the one they call The Mirror. And even better than treasure: the hard drives with the evidence they needed to bring down Queen Inc.

Back at the van, being sped away, Snow admired her thousand tiny reflections, and felt she could even manage a slice of pie to celebrate.

The story behind the story: Just a bit of fun, really. I fancied doing a heist story, and a twisted fairytale mash up.

Thank you
