One day, Hare's mother handed him a basket to take to his grandmother. The basket contained cookies and fresh fruit that his mother had made with her own hands, which were gifts for Grandma. Hare took the basket and went out.

The rabbit's grandmother is a bit eccentric, she lives alone in the forest outside the village, and seldom comes to the village, the rabbit and mother occasionally go back to visit her. There are times like today when the mother is busy, the rabbit will go alone.

Hare soon came to the entrance of the forest. The people of the village do not like to go through the forest, even if they can save a lot of time, they prefer to make a big detour. And because Grandma lives in such a forest, so the little rabbit had to go into the forest out of fear.

Just into the forest has not gone far, a gust of wind mixed with sand to the rabbit, sand into the eyes, so that the rabbit could not open his eyes, he had to put the basket in his hands on the ground, with hands to rub his eyes. It was hard to get the sand out of his eyes, and the rabbit suddenly found that he had two identical baskets in front of him!

Who is playing this prank? If you want to take both of them, you will be punished, so you must not do that! But these two baskets, from the outside, are the same, and the rabbit also looked inside the basket, as expected, the contents are also the same.

What should we do?

The rabbit did not give up, he began to carefully check each piece of cookies in the basket, and finally found one of them, missing a corner. This is what the rabbit intended to steal when he first got the basket, but as a result, he was almost discovered by his mother and only got to eat a small piece, which the person who pulled the prank did not expect.

I didn't think there would be a good side to stealing food, and after choosing the right basket, the rabbit continued. As he walked, there was a "swish" sound in his ears, and the sound was getting louder and louder. The rabbit looked back and was astonished to see a large area of leaves "following" him, and there was no wind, but the leaves seemed to be alive as they walked on the ground.

The rabbit ran away with the leaves chasing after him, and more leaves gathered around him along the way, and these leaves, originally one by one, were combined to form a big green wolf!

This is bad, we must think of a way, or we will be caught and eaten! The rabbit thought of a good way, and he hurriedly ran toward a small river nearby. The river itself was not wide, so if it was a really big wolf, it would not be stopped for sure, but if it was a big wolf with leaves, the result would be different.

Soon the rabbit arrived at the creek, and with a light leap, he jumped to the other side of the creek. Looking at the Big Bad Wolf, he tried to come from the creek, but one foot just stepped into the river, and the leaves that combined his body were washed away by the river, and the Big Bad Wolf ceased to exist and became an ordinary leaf again.

After solving this crisis, the little rabbit walked towards his grandmother's house and was walking when a voice called out to the little rabbit.

"That little rabbit over there, please wait a minute!"

Little rabbit did not expect to meet someone else here and was startled by the sudden appearance of the voice. He stopped and saw that it was a tortoise carrying a big travel bag.

The tortoise told the hare, "I am a traveling merchant and I am traveling around. I see that you have something to eat, can you give me some?"

Before the hare agreed, the tortoise said, "Don't worry, I'm a merchant, I won't ask you to give it to me for free, I'll buy it for five gold coins."

Five gold coins? The basket is not worth one gold coin, and the turtle is willing to pay five gold coins! If you have five gold coins, you can buy the toys you want, beautiful clothes and delicious snacks, just thinking about it makes people feel very happy.

But the rabbit thought to himself, this man must be starving, otherwise, he would never be willing to spend five gold coins to buy food. So he took out some cookies from the basket and gave them to the tortoise, saying, "These are good for you, plus I won't charge you for them. After you've eaten, you can go this way, and soon you'll reach the village where I live, and you can buy more food there."

The tortoise took the cookies and smiled and said, "Thank you, Hare, you are a good boy."

After saying goodbye to Oogway, Hare finally arrived at Grandma's house. As soon as he walked into the house, Hare said to Grandma, "Grandma, I have brought cookies and fruits."

Grandma happily accepted the gift and said, "Grandma saw how you behaved in the forest, you did very well!"

It turned out that Little Rabbit's grandmother was a witch who lived in the forest, and the so-called "strange things" in the forest and what happened to Little Rabbit just now were all created by her magic, not only to scare people but also to train Little Rabbit.

The rabbit sighed and was about to go into the house to rest when he saw the traveling merchant turtle was also there. The rabbit asked his grandmother what was going on, and she explained: "Oogway is my good friend and a sorcerer. It just so happens that he is coming to my side as a guest today, so I asked him to help me and come along to test you. If you accept the gold coins at that time, the gold coins will turn into heavy stones. It seems that your mother has taught you well, and you are worthy of being my grandson!"

Although it was a happy thing to be praised, the rabbit said breathlessly, "Grandma, next time let me walk here in a normal way, okay ......"
