The story begins in an audio and film production course: Janelle presents her love for film and acting. Since the age of five years old, she has been performing for her parents’ songs she enjoys and putting on plays while dressing up. Janelle’s parents realized she loved performing; many times, Janelle would drive her parents up the wall, as some would say; however, they would still watch. Eventually, five-year-old Janelle took a love for drawing but kept her performance personality. How? If she draws, you must be asking. Janelle is a girl that has never lived within the norms of society. During serious or unserious moments, Janelle is always acting, trying to bring humor. Sadly, this type of behavior comes with consequences, as Janelle did not understand the importance of time and place. As a result, Janelle was categorized as a youth in difficulty and worked with many professionals.

Now let’s redirect back to Janelle starting to draw. Whenever Janelle wanted to ‘act out,’ she would draw how she feels, resulting in Janelle providing her best work. She adds that she continued to draw until her passion branched out into writing poetry and music, to then desire to become a radio host, then 3D designing, and then back to writing, until this course. Janelle feels this information is essential to note because all those attributes assisted her when planning the script, the locations and layout of her set, and the presentation of sound to the overall film. Presentation of sound? Yes, since Janelle loved to perform, so knew that some specific moves would need a body mic, while others can have an overhead mic. As a performer, she understands the angles she wants to be caught, what does and doesn’t, and what requires more focus when fixing your Lenz. She summarizes by saying that many would look at her as a person who has no clue what they want in life and jumps between passions. All those passions together lead to the strong writer, Artist, Actrice, and film director that she has become. She adds that when she opens her production-based crisis center, all those attributes will benefit her clientele since each passion lasted longer than a year each passion Janelle received a course. In other words, even when you feel like everything you’re doing has no purpose, you need to continue to strive and believe in the person you want to become.

A student then interrupts and says, “well, if everything you do is so important, why waste a few years in college for a field you’re not working? Why waste a year and a half to study vocational courses that do not match your passion? You’re contradicting yourself?” Janelle smiles and says’s “The reason I took those courses is that I need to know how to work with my clientele. It’s easy to teach a passion but not easy to use one’s passion to redirect one’s behavior. To have a successful business, too, you require a background in your work because that is your brand. I even studied the foundation of music production with an online university. I am also studying how to create a successful business with healthcare in mind. You need to be your brand; you need to be able to say you understand what you’re trying to sell, or you’ll become the very person that motivated me to enter this field to make a change.”

The entire class, including the teacher, gets up from their chair and claps. Some students even began to shout, “get it, girl, get it.” At the end of class, the teacher approached Janelle and said, I have my own production company and when you’re open, think of me for projects. Janelle smiles and responds, “that’s great; my college even offered to send stagiaires if I meet the requirements. Thank you so much, sir; I’ll keep you in mind.”

Two years pass, and Janelle receive a call from a curator saying a member of her family passed away and wanted to provide Janelle with their estate, as they were aware of her dreams. Janelle makes her way downtown to sign all the paperwork, and then they make their way to the home. The two arrive at a gated community not far from the American border. Upon arrival, Janelle is speechless: The house looked like a Cabin. However, when they entered, it was a three-floor home, and in the basement held hidden an audio and video editing studio. Hidden, you must be asking. The door is camouflaged within the theater walls: Oh yes, the home has a stage for performers. When entering the room, the curator said, “I was to provide you with this letter the moment you arrived in this room.” Janelle opens the letter, and it reads:

“Janelle,

I give you the green light: The green light to embark on all the dreams you’ve ever dreamt of; The green light lives your life to the fullest. The green light to my volt in your new master bedroom; holds over a million dollars to help you get your business in order. Greenlight to give my friend providing you this information with a generous tip. He did not add that, lol. I give you the green light to continually help those that yield cause something yellow presents itself or stop because red is present; I give you the green light to make green light inside of the most mysterious minds. I give you the green light. Make sure to check that volt, though; it includes more than a million dollars: again, I give you that green light, and I know your spirit will keep that light on, so let’s go, let’s go. Do your thing.

From auntie Bonnie.”

Once Janelle arrived at the volt, she is given a key: once opened, Janelle seen all the cash in bills and an envelope attached to the volt door. Inside the envelope held permits to have a production-based crisis center, as well as paperwork results of an evaluation made on the home’s safety for the future clientele. And a phone number with a note below it that says “YOU’RE OFFICIALLY IN BUSINESS, ONCE YOU CALL THIS NUMBER. Good luck, baby.”

Janelle contacted the number and began her business within a month. While working on her first project with the clientele, Janelle was blessed to have met her soul mate. She later marries her partner, a writer, artist, and actor, and owns his own production company. The two merged and became a powerhouse. Over four years, they’ve created Multiple projects with their clientele: three of their films made it on Hollywood screens, and two of their artists got signed by a record label. On the fifth anniversary of being opened, the government of Canada and the USA would like to award the two for their contribution to the mental health community and making positive changes in the lives of those deemed unfit to society. The following day, they received another call to recognize them as being the best crisis center globally. Their statistics show that 90% of their clientele redirected their undesired behaviors into things that individuals in society can relate to; 5% of the ten remaining were able to function within society and live their everyday lives, while the other 5% would end up dead or in prison. Call this story the greenlight to success: Unlike street lights, at yellow and red, you go likes it green.
