Farewell
Just a tiny speck in the universe
She gazed into the sky, a bruised canvas of midnight blue, salted with stars. Light shimmered through the pines, leaving splashes of silver on the earth below.
She wasn’t sure anymore.
She had wanted to go, to join Rosamond and Leon on Gliese 667 Cc, but this world was so beautiful. Could she say good-bye? What if Gliese didn’t have forests and trees and grass and bubbling brooks? What if it was just gray dust and empty craters? She took a deep breath, absorbing the ageless beauty of the night sky.
At least she'd still have the stars.

The Hunter Warrior
Nyalla crouched low behind the large cluster of Mopane trees with their beautiful butterfly shaped leaves. Her eyes were glued to the grazing animal, cautiously awaiting her kill for the evening meal. The day was warm, but a slight breeze caressed the overhead limbs as they swayed delicately and soothingly, cooling her skin. Nearby, the Kigelia Africana, the comical looking Sausage tree, with its fruit closely resembling a sausage, swayed teasingly, inviting a juicy bite. Yet, she mused, this fruit is poisonous to humans, while animals can somehow devour it without harm.

You word choices and way of writing just flowed so seamlessly! I am awestruck with the vivid imagery you were able to create in my mind!
