He came from a world of smoke and shadows. Only half a soul. Never certain if he would fit anywhere. Doubt clung to his ribs like meat to a bone. He couldn’t seem to let go. Until the day he did.
He walked into the crowd and spoke his name. And the most wonderful thing—amid the jostling of bodies, the buzz of conversation, the mad chaos of a London morning—something brilliant, the flash of a smile. Another human acknowledging him. She looked into his eyes and nodded.
And for the first time, he felt seen.

I love the poetry of this --such an uncertain character in the beginning, then finally seen ❤️ So beautiful!
Great story❤️❗
Love this. It could be a metaphor for writing, putting yourself and your name out there, coming out of the shadows and risking being seen. Then the delight of having someone who gets it.
good
This is fab. Makes me miss the hustle and bustle of London.
Beautifully written story
This is so good, leaves oy with "that look" on your face!
This was so good. I am going over so many possibilities of who he is! You definitely left a mystery with us
Makes you wonder about the other amazing feelings he has yet to discover. I'm so glad he took the initiative. Great read, Ahna.
That's gorgeous!! I was pulled right along on this beautiful word journey till your generous, happy ending. Absolutely fantastic Ahna!
Beautiful hope, possibility.
I love the mystery in this and that he decided to put himself out there! ❤️
