As he cleared his throat, spitting again to erase the foul flavor of the drink, Ahmed al-Ghaffar grimaced.
"You don't like it, Effendi?"
"Not like it?" said al-Ghaffar, with a snort. "I wouldn't give it to my enemy's dog."
"The taste can be a little bitter..." said Omar, thoughtfully. Again, al-Ghaffar snorted.
"I have heard that you can milk a goat into the cup for a milder flavor..."
"You have a goat with you in this little hideaway, fool?" Asked al-Ghaffar, looking around in mock disbelief.
"Honey then!"
"What?"
"I have honey, Effendi. A little honey, to sweeten the taste?"
