Music surrounded me, drifting out from the stage at the club like a vibrational positive pulse. It shook through me, and I could feel the sensation of a magical energy pulsing through the night, bringing with it endless possibilities. He was here, and I could feel it; I could imagine myself standing right here with him, but would he accept me? My life had been plagued by differences since birth, and as I grew and learned, I only became more so, not just out of rebellion, but genuine inner truth and self acceptance. This was the night for our encounter, I could feel it, everything had been leading up to this moment, and just then our eyes met. He was on the other side of the room, and magnetically I could feel the pull drawing us together as he approached me with a smile. "Do you like my club?," he asked me. I smiled shyly back, and he grasped my hand in his, and led me over to the concession area. "Would you like something?," he asked me. Again, I smiled shyly. I wasn't certain my voice could be heard clearly in the loud club, so I shook my head 'No'. He looked me over with a smile, and asked, "Would you like to dance?" He motioned towards the center of the room, where everyone was dancing, and outstretched his hand toward me. I smiled, and nodded 'Yes,' and took his hand. We had been dancing quite awhile before he leaned in and asked, "Are you able to speak? I noticed the scar on your neck, but I didn't want to offend you, I like you very much." It was difficult for me to whisper, but leaning so close, I decided to attempt to softly reply, "I can speak and sing, it is just difficult to raise my voice." "Let's go somewhere, where we can talk," he said, pulling me towards the door out into the night. You could still hear the echoes of the music reverberating outside the building. I watched as two bats flew past the street light, and turned my gaze to the full moon and star filled sky. I felt him wrap his arms around me. "I sing too," He told me, "My guitar is in my car over there," he continued as he pulled me off toward the vehicle. He held the car door for me to get in. Soon, we were seated side by side with the radio on. He had put his arm about me. "I feel like I have known you my whole life," He said to me, breaking the silence. "That is not possible," I responded, "I am a time travelling vampire," and then, I bit him, knowing that this time we could have eternity together...

...The End.

It had been an hour or so, and he awoke, turning to me, he grasped his neck and shook his head. "What happened?," he asked me, "How long have we been sitting here? Why haven't you gone for help?" "You are all right," I reassured him, "It has been a little over an hour. I can explain. I hope you forgive me," I told him. He stared at me awhile, and looked closer into my eyes, and then he said, "Forgive what? Yes, do explain, but first, tell me how it is that you are sitting here in my car with me after all this time? Where have you been?" I never thought he would recall our interactions from my travels though time and spacial dimension; I was not sure how to answer that, but I had to tell my love something. "It is a long story and a lot to explain, but I will try. Do you want me to try to tell you everything from the very beginning until now?," I replied. "I feel all right, the night is still young, and I have all the time for you, just don't leave me again," he said to me.

The sun was rising, and all was quiet. He had turned the radio off quite awhile ago. We had been sitting in silence for maybe fifteen minutes. I had told him the entire crazy story, and was becoming nervous about what he might think. He took a deep breath and sighed, he reached for my hand, and grasping it said, "All I know is I love you forever, and you must love me forever through all time and space to search all over again and again, just to be with me. I look forward to spending forever with you."

As the years passed by occasionally, we had to re-invent ourselves, or time hop, as we called it, and re-establish ourselves, but we loved the adventure. Every once and awhile we would add some loved ones to our secret club, and sometimes we would establish a secret layer hide out away from society, but I never once regretted what I had done, even as his brother sat staring at me in disapproval today. "You did this to us," he said to me. "We gave you a choice," I reminded him. "I know, but it is a tireless endless battle," he replied. "But, the world is better for it, and we are together," I told him. "But, even utopia, seems inadequate to eternal rest," he said. "But immortal heaven is heaven regardless of location," I said. "But what if this is not Heaven on Earth, but Purgatory?," he said. "How could love, joy, and life be Purgatory?," I answered. "I just wish I felt certain of it all, but I am happy to serve tirelessly as my quest," He said. I couldn't help thinking about what he had said, but like him punishment or bliss is how you view it, and I choose to see life eternal as positive. I had always believed that God had created and permitted science, and all that exists good or helpful on Earth, and therefore; if something remains, it must truly be for the good. But, what if his doubts were true? Was I strong in my faith, or deluded? How can anyone ever truly know if Earth is Heaven blessed, or is it Hell? ...
