Backrooms Decrypted: The Endless City (Level 11)

Backrooms Level 11 is also known as The Endless City. It has a class 1 survival difficulty rating. It is secure and safe. The number of entities in it is minimal. Level 11 is a seemingly endless city with structures, shops, and skyscrapers. The front rooms on this level contain structures that are typical of a city. These buildings' interiors are randomly constructed and furnished; some are empty while others are entirely furnished. Although some levels display Level 11 at night, this level does not have a day/night cycle and is always present during the day. Large nuclear power plants in Level 11 are typically located 800 kilometers apart. Numerous city landmarks can be found on Level 11 of The Front Rooms. These well-known locations include buildings from New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Montreal, St. Louis, and other cities.

The Backrooms: The Endless City (Level 11)
  • Greetings once more, Explorer. After all, Level 11 is not an easy one to reach, so you have certainly come a long way to get here. You even had to go back to Level 9 to get here. You might be regretting your choice to proceed in numerical order right now, but hey, we're not here to pass judgment on your personal decisions. We were only supposed to help you navigate the terrifying Backrooms, and now that you're in the big city, it seems better than the strange fog swirling behind you.
  • Did you see anything move in there? No, you couldn't have seen anything move. Can you hear the wind whistling, Explorer? It's best to simply disregard it and continue moving. Leaving the building, you enter the new level's colossal, deserted streets. This is not at all like the isolated, dark suburbs you may be familiar with from places like Level 9. As far as the eye can see, there are towering skyscrapers.
  • From New York, you can see the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building in the distance, as well as the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco, the renowned Gateway Arch from Chicago, the Washington Monument from Washington, DC, and the Space Needle from Seattle. Several of America's most well-known cities seem to have been combined in a bizarre way, but the strangeness doesn't end there. Because of the Backrooms' inherent bizarre and extra-dimensional features, many of the buildings have an odd, glitchy appearance.
  • A few structures are colliding with one another. Some are juddering wildly. Some buildings lack any doors or windows, while others have them installed in odd locations. On the nearby sidewalks, you notice another bizarre sight: Facelings strolling along as though they were just regular people while wearing leashes on their hounds. This is the impact this level has on them, which may seem strange to you. They carry on regular human behavior.
  • You continue moving forward in an effort to ignore the foreboding cloud of fog that is far behind you while also wanting to see more or did it get a little closer? It would probably be best to just put the incident out of your mind by keeping it out of sight. The human-like entity known as Ralph, who resides at a building on this level known as Radio Backrooms Studios, is playing a genial-sounding host on his very own talk show, Talkin' with Ralph, on a radio that is lying nearby on the sidewalk.
  • Talkin' with Ralph was recorded by Ralph. Ralph assists Explorers by giving them helpful pointers on surviving the backrooms, just like the words currently gurgling from the radio. A few pointers to help you improve your survival skills in the backrooms never hurt, right? That's why I'm launching a new story today called Survival 101. My biggest piece of advice is to find a group, even if you don't intend to join them; most groups are welcoming to newcomers and will help you adjust to your new life. Some people may give you the Backrooms Basics a Guide, which can be useful at the beginning of your adventure.
  • For your initial days, I advise you to locate Camp Amber in Level 0. They are open to trade and can provide you with directions to reach The Hub, one of the safest levels of The Backrooms, which is essential if you want to wander around. Though perhaps a little remedial for someone like you, this is all good advice. Congratulations, Explorer. You stumble to your feet and shake off the grit and dust from your clothing. A new level means a new chance at survival. You can't help but chuckle a little when you think about that.
  • With the sun's gentle heat on your face, you move forward toward whatever lies ahead. You eventually start whistling a tune, though at first you're not even aware of it. You have fun just for yourself. Maybe Argos is correct. You may not be such a bad person after all. When the chance arises, you might occasionally even prove to be a decent person. Perhaps something truly awful is still out there waiting for you. Keep an eye out for the upcoming exciting Backrooms exploration as we go deeper. How much deeper is this liminal abyss?
