Chapter 1

Fully Healed

Way back in Code: Red. After a major loss against Darkness, a living shadow bent on the destruction of the multiverse, the original Jeremiah, a 14-year-old young man with brown hair, blue eyes, and a slightly bulky build thanks to his years of training at the Superheroes, was mortally wounded. After his narrow escape, he was hospitalized as his duplicate took over all his duties. Now, the original is almost done healing. During the events of the last book, Space Adventure, Jeremiah got promoted to field agent second class. Included with the promotion was the Rustbucket, Jeremiah's new ship, which is a small slightly rusty two-man ship made more for maneuverability than comfort. Using it, he escorted a cargo ship with Ness, a young boy in a striped t-shirt and wearing a red baseball cap, and Prof. Rowan, a middle-aged man with gray hair and a gray mustache, in it. Prof. Rowan helped with making a Pokémon habitat. Now, a couple of sanitary missions from the last book, the original Jeremiah is fully healed.

The original Jeremiah rises from his hospital bed groggily groaning not in pain, but because he wasn’t a morning person. His injuries nonexistent, a far cry from when he escaped from Darkness’s clutches. In the sterile hospital room with a white wall in the Agency’s Medical Wing, Jeremiah moves the covers aside and climbs out of bed immediately grabbing the attention of the nearby doctor performing some routine check-ups on another patient. He turns around and asks surprised, "You're fully healed, already?"

"Yeah, so?" asks a slightly annoyed Jeremiah.

"You shouldn't have healed that fast," states the confused doctor peering at his clipboard for a scientific explanation.

"If I was a normal human, then yes. But I'm citaloanin, also. Some Citalogs can heal faster than others. And don't you have other patients who heal faster than normal?"

"I see and yes. But, those patients don't heal nearly as fast as you did."

"I see."

"Well, you can go now."

"Ok. I'll try not to end up here again."

"Ok. Have a nice day."

Jeremiah leaves the hospital room and walks out of the Medical Wing into the gray hallway over to Head Spikey's office. He opens the door with a little squeal and greets Head Spikey, a big black dog with a brown underbelly wearing a spiked collar, upon walking in, "Hello Head Spikey."

"Weren't you just here, Agent Jeremiah?" inquires Head Spikey confused.

"You're thinking of my duplicate," replies Jeremiah.

"If that’s the case, how did you heal so quickly?"

"I just explained that to a doctor. Just tell me where my duplicate is so I can refuse with him," Jeremiah demands annoyed at the notion of repeating himself.

"He's in the ship bay. I gave him or I should say you the day off. And a lot of people will probably ask the same questions I did or be confused."

"This power does have that effect on people."

"I see. You better go, then."

"Ok. Bye."

"Bye."

He left for the ship bay, hopefully.

Chapter 2

The Refusion

The original Jeremiah is hopelessly lost. He tried to ask for directions, but everyone was too confused to answer. Finally, after half an hour of wandering around, he finds the ship bay. It might have helped if he knew the ship bay was in the exact same spot as it was in the old Agency. Jeremiah complains, "Why didn't you say that earlier?" I'm just the book writer. I wasn't talking to you readers, I was talking to OJ (Original Jeremiah) over here. Anyway, he notices his duplicate putting his tools up getting ready to leave the ship bay. So, he walks up to him.

"Hello me," greets OJ.

"Hello. I'm guessing you just got out of the medical wing," greets back DJ (Duplicate Jeremiah).

"I got out over half an hour ago. It took me a while to find the ship bay," claims OJ.

"Don't you know this is an expanded exact duplicate of the old Agency or were you asleep when they announced that?" questions DJ.

"The second one."

"Ok. Now, let’s refuse."

"Ok."

They grab each other’s hand and turn into blue slime and swirl back into each other before reforming back into the slightly bulky teenager that is Jeremiah. His form solidifies and regains his color leaving only one Jeremiah to deal with. As he leaves the ship bay, Darkness appears on screen. Actually, every screen in the Agency to be exact. This isn't going to be good.

Chapter 3

The Shadow Energy Cannon

Darkness announces over every screen in the Agency including a gigantic jumbotron on the outside wall of the building, "Hello Agency of the 5th World. I bet I know what everyone is thinking. 'Don't hurt us, Darkness.' It's either that or 'Spare the children and just take me.' Don't worry, nobody will be left out. Soon, you will all be my new minions! Mu ha ha ha!"

"Watch to funny is this," says Bowser Jr. in the background.

"Agreed," replies the Evil Robloxian who is also in the background.

Darkness turns around and demands, "Bowser Jr. and Evil, what are you two talking about over there?"

"How great you are," lies Bowser Jr.

"For your sakes, you better be saying great things about me," says Darkness haughtily.

"Yes, sir," says Bowser Jr.

"Him fooled we," says ER.

"Si. Did we," asks Bowser Jr.

Jeremiah now floating in front of the gigantic outdoor jumbotron says to Darkness, "They sure played you for an idiot, huh Darkness?"

"I'm not an idiot," rebukes Darkness.

"Nailed him got he."

"See. I didn't even a translator to understand that. They said I nailed you there," states Jeremiah.

"Somebody turn on the translator and play the video," demands Darkness facing towards his side.

"We're doomed," says Bowser Jr plainly.

"Ok. I confess. We were making fun of you," confesses ER in the hope that Darkness would spare him.

"Way to keep your cool, ER," says Bowser Jr. sarcastically.

"Bowser Jr., you're going into the pit! ER, you're safe for confessing."

"Phew," sighs ER.

"Not the pit, anything, but the pit," screams Bowser Jr. as Darkness drags him away from the video feed.

Darkness returns to the screen and asks, "Now where were we?"

"At the part where you press the self-destruct button," tries Jeremiah.

"I'm not falling for that trick," says Darkness.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH! LET ME OUT OF HERE!" screams Bowser Jr. off screen.

"Ignore the screaming in the background. I just remembered where we were," proclaims Darkness.

"So I don't have to give you the recap?" asks Jeremiah.

"No. I do know my shadow energy cannon's first victim…"

"Wait a minute, when did you get a shadow energy cannon?"

"I had my minions build it. And its first victim will be Agent Nic."

"Phew. My pizza is safe."

"And the next victim will be your pizza."

"No! Not the pizza! How could this get any worse?"

"Me stealing all your cheeseburgers."

"Yep. That would be even worse."

"Everyone, please direct your attention to the nearest screen."

Suddenly, maps appeared on all the screens. starting with a map of the galaxy. They’re target-locking maps. And every time the cursor stops it zooms in to a new map. Jeremiah speed levitates over to the Rustbucket. The shadow energy cannon fires. Nic, a young man slightly younger than Jeremiah with a round face who also has brown hair and blue eyes, quickly hops in the Phoenix Warbird, which is a massive, long ship with the exterior design resembling that of a phoenix, and takes off.

The battle in the sky will start next chapter.

Chapter 4

Nic vs. the Shadow Energy Cannon

The SEC's (Shadow Energy Cannon) booming purple beam of shadow energy is already in sight at the Agency heading towards the Phoenix Warbird. And more specially, Nic. And next will be Jeremiah's pizza. Nic is pretty good at maneuvering his ship. But the beam is following him. This isn't good for Nic. It's gaining on him. Suddenly, a portal appears near Nic. It looks like it's made of fire, ice, and electricity. Zapdos, a yellow bird Pokémon whose wings look like lightning bolts; Articuno, a blue bird Pokémon with a long tail feather; and Moltres, a fire bird Pokémon came out of the portal. They gather around Nic's ship. Nic questions, "What is going on?" Then, they attack the beam. Zapdos using Thunder; Articuno using Ice Beam; and Moltres using Flamethrower. They combined into one massive stream and collide with the beam exploding on impact. Jeremiah quickly makes a cannon on his ship. Once finished, he attaches a memory eraser to the cannon's firing mechanism.

He flies in front of the Phoenix Warbird on the Rustbucket and says, "Darkness, prepare to forget everything." Jeremiah fires the cannon. Somehow, the beam makes it all the way to the Shadow Realm hitting Darkness making him forget the Agency's location. Talk about plot convenience.

"I may have just forgotten your location. I think it was a memory erasing cannon that erased my memory. But still, I will destroy the multiverse. Until next time, enjoy yourselves because your days are numbered," threatens Darkness.

"What is today’s number, then?" inquires Jeremiah.

Then, Darkness presses the self-destruct button on the Shadow Energy Cannon causing it to explode. Apparently, Jeremiah messed with Darkness's eyes and button memory. Very clever Jeremiah. Anyway, the explosion stops the transmission. Nic and Jeremiah land and get out of their ships. They run up to each other. Jeremiah says to Nic, "Nic, I think there is a spy among us." Nic asks surprised, "A spy?"

"Yes, a spy. That is the only way Darkness could have learned the new Agency's location in such a short amount of time."

"Let’s tell Head Spikey right away."

Jeremiah nods. They run to Head Spikey's office.

Chapter 5

Who is the Spy?

Nic and Jeremiah are in Head Spikey's office, which is in soundproof mode.

"You think there is a spy among us?" asks Head Spikey.

"Yes. That is the only logical explanation to how Darkness found out the new Agency’s location so quickly," deduces Jeremiah.

"But who is the spy?" questions Head Spikey.

"I have no idea. What about you, Nic?" asks Jeremiah.

"No clue," states Nic.

"Let’s try to narrow it down, first," says Head Spikey.

"Ok. We can x out Nic, you, Tech Boy, Tech Girl, and me," lists off Jeremiah.

"And Tiffany," adds Nic.

"No. She is the prime suspect at the moment," denies Jeremiah.

Electricity surges throughout Nic’s entire body as he angrily and loudly claims, "She would never betray us!"

"Jeremiah, please explain your reasoning before Nic gets zappy," warns Head Spikey.

"She might have a bit of shadow energy left in her. Just enough that it could take her over for a few minutes at a time," explains Jeremiah calmly. Too calmly.

"No. It's not true," says Nic in denial his electricity dissipating.

"We can have her scanned for remaining shadow energy. Tech Boy and Tech Girl can make a shadow energy scanner in a few minutes, flat," claims Jeremiah.

"Then, we'll have her scanned for shadow energy, tomorrow. Now, Jeremiah, I have one more question for you," says Head Spikey.

"Shoot," replies Jeremiah.

"Why are all your written reports in book form?" asks Head Spikey.

"It's more entertaining," answers Jeremiah.

"Wait a minute. Your reports are books?" asks Nic stunned.

"Yes," replies Jeremiah.

"Wow. That is cool and original," says Nic.

"They are really good books. I even made copies of them and put them in the Agency's secret library," says Head Spikey.

"Awesome," cheers Jeremiah doing a little fist pump.

"Epic," joins in Nic.

"By the way, where do you get the time to write them, anyway?" asks Head Spikey.

"Yeah, Jeremiah? Where do you get the time to write them?" asks Nic.

"Simple. I have a clone of me write them while everything is going on," explains Jeremiah while he points at me in the corner.

Wait a minute. Yay! I finally made it in the book. I think I should throw a party to celebrate.

"You’re always in the book as the surprisingly interactive narrator," says Jeremiah.

Oh. I’ll just keep up the good work, then.

"Ok. Well, you two better get to dinner. And just so you know, the secret library is in the Breakfast Café. Just go up to the person manning the cash register and say you would like to order a book. He'll take you to the secret library."

"Ok. See you later."

"Bye, HS."

"See you later agents."

They exit Head Spikey’s office and leave for the Dinner Diner.
