Review:

The Series started off well but lost in the middle. The first four episodes were solid and impressive, but the final four were completely different from the first four. Series can be effectively separated into two sections. The initial 4 had strong story assembling, the characters were deep rooted, and the contention between the characters was fascinating. The series' final four featured inappropriate love songs that completely altered its tone. Despite its flaws, "Jallikattu"'s" politics and ego clash are well-portrayed in the series. The writer clearly did a good job of prepping. Actually somewhat flawed, yet the Jallikattu succession was all around caught. The intro song was excellent, and Santhosh Narayanan did a great job as usual.

The first half (the first four epis) was good, but the second half (the last four epis) was a little clumsy. Overall, though, it was enjoyable to watch a traditional movie with a good narration and a great screenplay. "Vadivasal" was well explained to those who needed to know about Vadivasal and jallikatu. It undergoes a stunning transformation over time, evolving from a naturalistic portrayal of rural Tamil Nadu. A custom never neglects to lay out an independent, dedicated, and strong Tamil culture. Additionally, it represents the remarkable bond between man and animal.

The film's shots are unbelievable. Nearly realistic.

It's mind-blowing to take a Tamilan cultural tradition and turn it into a top-notch script. I would like to congratulate all departments, including the Director of Photography, Background Score, Direction, Production, Stunts, and Acting, as well as to give special mention to those bulls, who are the project's driving force. I wish all of Pettakaali's cast and crew well, and I hope that projects like this are accepted by the audience and producers. This has created a high that, I imagine, will soon be experienced once more on the big screen thanks to the Vaadivasal films directed by Vetrimaaran, a national award-winning director.
