London in 2022 will be a very different place than it is now, and that’s saying something considering how different it already is from ten years ago. The city has added new landmarks, seen old ones demolished, and experienced numerous changes in the way people live their lives. As such, we’ve taken an early look at what we think London will be like in 2022 and compiled this list of the Coolest FUN Things to Do in London 2022. This list was put together by our team of researchers and writers who attended local conferences to talk with some of the biggest innovators in the world today.

The Best Nightlife Options

Try out a nightlife game like Bar Roulette, where you get assigned a random bar and must go there. There’s also Drinkopoly, which is similar to Monopoly but instead of buying property, you drink at bars. For something more low-key, pop into one of London’s many vintage cocktail bars for an evening of downing Old Fashioneds and gabbing with fellow alcoholics. If you like speakeasies, head over to one of Soho’s best such as The Night Jar or Sketch; both have secret entrances that require passwords. You can even try going clubbing without actually going to a club: Groucho Club members often find themselves meeting up at quirky venues like village halls around town. Must-see events

Luckily, there is a plethora of fun things happening here in London over the next few years. From adrenaline-fueled events that will leave you on cloud nine for days, to immersive experiences that will show you a side of town you didn’t even know existed, there really is something for everyone. Today we’re going to talk about some of our favorite things on offer so that you can plan your trip accordingly and make sure you don’t miss out on any good times. Let’s take a look at what’s coming up! 1. The Tournament of Kings – Located inside their enormous Medieval Times Castle, located near downtown London, guests can watch as jousting knights compete for glory and defeat evil villains during dinner and a show. Dinner is served family style by cast members dressed as medieval maidens and squires who set an authentic tone with accents fit for royalty throughout the evening. What makes this experience unique is its interactive nature—at certain points during dinner, audience members are given thumbs up or thumbs down cards to cast their vote on which knight should win each round; sometimes they decide whether one should live or die!

Fun festivals

In case you don’t make it out to any of these, be sure to check out other awesome festivals taking place around England, like Edinburgh Fringe, Manchester International Festival and Latitude. If a festival isn’t your thing, plan a spontaneous day trip: in the U.K., you never know what might pop up on social media or by word of mouth that could lead you on an adventure! (We suggest checking out local Instagram pages for inspiration.) And if you want to stay put, take advantage of all there is to do in London: From museums and art galleries to music venues and theaters, there’s always something fun going on—and we’re not just talking about Christmas markets.

Things to do with kids

The capital is full of historic sites, world-class museums and an endless number of family-friendly activities. The city’s National Gallery houses a collection of more than 2,300 masterpieces from around 150 artists, including Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam and Edvard Munch's The Scream. The Tate Modern (free admission) has a number of interactive exhibits for kids. It also offers regular children’s workshops. Another great option is Southbank Centre—home to five arts venues, as well as an ice rink, seasonal fairground rides and gardens—just across the Thames from Big Ben. If you have older kids, why not try out one of London’s escape rooms? These are immersive puzzles that require teamwork and ingenuity to complete. One popular spot is Escapology in Covent Garden, which claims to be the best escape room ever. You can book up to six people at once on its website.

Best locations to visit

There is always so much happening in London, but here are a few of our favorite locations: Big Ben - The Elizabeth Tower is a clock tower commonly referred to as Big Ben after its largest bell. It sits on top of Parliament Hill near Westminster Bridge and has become one of Britain's most recognizable symbols. Known officially as Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress, there have been numerous renovations over time. You can easily see it from across London and its iconic face can be seen every hour on BBC News. Tower Bridge - One of London’s most famous landmarks, Tower Bridge was designed by Sir Horace Jones and built between 1886-1894. Today it’s used by around 40,000 vehicles each day (as well as thousands of pedestrians) and stands at 176 meters high with an impressive span of almost 50 meters. Buckingham Palace - Built in 1705 for Queen Anne, Buckingham Palace has served as home to monarchs ever since—and remains home to Queen Elizabeth II today. In fact, she hasn't spent a single night away from her residence since she took office back in 1952! With more than 775 rooms spanning 120 acres (including 52 acres just for gardens), you'll never run out of things to do when visiting Buckingham Palace!
